This was so amazing! It's crazy that this can explain me and my sister, even though we're not twins. We've had the same dreams, we know what the other's thinking, we say things at the exact same time. Like, I can think of a song, and we'll start singing the same part at the same time. Sometimes I think we should've been twins :) Anyway, I'm gonna stop rambling now, and remind you how amazing this fic was!

I liked this. Its so cool to think Tom gets to have these feelings. Sometimes I look at him and think on top of being talented, lucky, and beautiful he gets to be in this special rare group of people who have a identical twin.
Author's Response: Thanks! Being an identical certainly is special... but they ARE siblings just like any other, and you may love him/her all the time, but I'll tell ya, you like him/her all the time!

I really liked this. My third child had a "vanishing twin" that complicated my pregnancy with her and I think she is affected by it. On the other hand my other set of twins are not very close and just act like siblings would. It may be that the older twin was larger and barely allowed her twin brother any movement in the womb. My oldest two, who are only a year apart, act more like twins than they do. Yes, I have five kids and should have six. I am crazy.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think people with vanishing twins are affected by it more than psychologists think. My baby cousin Sophie is three and a half, he had a vanishing twin and calls out in her sleep for Sophie, like she's calling out for herself, but she doesn't know anybody else named Sophie. I think fraternal twins tend to be more like regular siblings, especially if they're a boy and girl set, since the gender thing gets in the way. My sister and I are extremely close, we do have the dreams together, and we can sort of tell what each other is thinking, like I describe with the scent. And psht! You're not crazy, my mother wanted a big family, six or seven kids she used to say, but its just me and Lia.
