I completely understand about the needing to be in an innocent, flowery, childlike mood. My own writing is very finicky and I can't write unless I'm either in the mood, or listening to music that puts me in the mood.
Also, omg, The Book Thief has been on my reading radar for about a month now. I intend to get it from the library once I work down my queue.
Still loving the format, and love how Bill doesn't really like caramel. Haha, nice quirk. Usually in fics the one instantly loves the other's scent or taste XD

Your chapters are so short, I just realized that. But it doesn't matter, because it really works. The plot in this isn't so huge and dramatic that it needs lengthy chapters, short ones fit the brief actions taking place in the chapters.
Still the writing style is so different, I have no idea how the hell you're managing it, and still letting it be a story.
The kiss was sweet, and since it was not too long, and only few seconds, it showed their character. That they aren't going to drown one another's mouths ;D. Haha.

Bill climbs out the window? Haha why not front door? XD That's adorable though. Bill and Tom seem like butterflies. ;3 Their emotions fluttering everywhere and how they interact.
