That... Was... Awesome.
I always thought my friend and I were the only ones who wanted to incorporate Bill and Tom into the story of Splice, and actually, I enjoyed this maybe a little bit more than the movie. I thought it was moving and cute, and I am a complete geek when it comes to the whole everything that surrounds this kind of science.
The ending was very endearing, I loved it. (I think I know what I am going to dress up as for halloween... even though I am no longer a child, haha!)

I had no doubt about liking the story but I'm so attached to Bill and Tom that I think I'd be a little devastated if something happened to them and it feels like anything could! I watched Splice which is the main reason why I haven't read your story because the movie made me sad. But there's only so much that I can resist. Enjoying the story so far and actually squawked indignantly at Georg! Tom is so sweet to the creature. I really hope this story has a happy ending...
Author's Response: The movie made me sad, as well! I really liked the set-up, but I was disappointed in the ending, which is why I wrote this story. So, don't worry about the ending being anything like the film!
