Poor Tom :( Bill is so sweet and innocent I can't imagine how it must feel to him to know that he is the only one of his kind to be alone in this way. He understands to a point but there is now way he could know the strain on Tom to make more like Bill and then to have them forced to be tested on and possibly killed for the better of humans. I don't think I can even grasp totally something like this. I do want to see them together for as long as fate will allow and I do want to see Bill live longer if it is possible but I don't want this company to do something horrible to him if he decides not to go into surgery or even if he does. Poor Bill and poor Tom.
Author's Response: Yes, while Bill is quite intelligent, he's also very naive, and doesn't really understand the implications of what he's asking for. It's a very hard situation for them both to be in. Anyway, thanks for reading, and reviewing! I love hearing people's thoughts about this story.

you know I always saw this story when I was looking for new ones too read. I didn't read it for months but then today I thought I would read it maybe it would be good. You know what I was totally wrong this story is amazing who would have thought not me. great story.

Oh boy. . . . . . Bill does not realize that the ones that are going to be like him are not going to b treated like him. Many will probably die slow and painfully. They don't understand the Reformations of this decision. They will be treated like lab rats. Well they could have a short life but each one will hurt more and more of each passing. It is like dealing with clone wars from star wars. Many of the clones tend to not have that much hope in life because they KNOW they are clones and dependable assets. They tend to give up when they don't see any hope left. It rt even more when you give them that very hope to keep fighting with.
Oh another note I have a question to ask of you, I have kind of been writing my own fic. Although I don't know were I am headed with it. I have no outline really. Well sort of but it is more like clips of scenes throughout the story. It is also a het story or gen I guess. I doubt I could bring myself to write a twincest. I was wondering if you could write an outline for me maybe or co-write? This is not a right away decision I mean you still this story to finish and I am sure other projects. Just ummm read my prologue and fist chapter that is on my profile and see if you have any ideas or would like to participate in curating a new story.

I seriously do an excited little dance in my chair every time I see this story's been updated. Then I hold my breath the whole time, because I honestly have no idea what's going to happen next. I think one of my favorite parts of this chapter was Gustav and Tom's interaction; it seems like Tom's coming to appreciate the people who matter in his life a bit more, which is awesome.
Also enjoyed the proof that Bill's intelligent enough to understand most of what's said in front of him. And my heart ached when he was so eager to have more people like him. He has Tom, but he's still so alone in the world. I suspect he doesn't quite realize what his fellow creations will be used for, though... :O Not sure how that will go, but I'm looking forward to reading it! ♥

*squeal*!!!!! oh yay!!! gosh bill is soooo freaking innocent!!!! its adorable! but have a really bad feeling about this! if tom makes more people like bill, and bill sees whats being done to them, then he'll get really mad and kill all of the scientists and hurt tom in the process!!!!! Somehow, I doubt Bill will see many more of the others, though :/ Unless he hangs around the lab all the time, but then he'll be like...not happy with what they're doing to the others :/
Maybe Tom could just make the others and like...not have contact with them? xD

This is most certainly an unexpected twist! :o Now I'm not sure what to think. Other than, wow Tom, you sure have found yourself right smack in the middle of a morality play, and you're letting love blind you to the more difficult but possibly upright choices.
He's seduced by Bill and science. Tom never had a chance. I'm anxious to see where you take this, next!
Author's Response: He blinded him with science! (Now that will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day...oh, the 80s). But you're absolutely right. Tom is trying to excuse himself from the moral issues by letting Bill make the decision, but, of course, Bill is far too sheltered and naive to be able to understand the full implications of what Ms. Chorot is asking. I'm not sure if this is a better solution or worse. I feel like a Romeo and Juliette ending is in order. Drama drama drama. Stress stress stress. Omg I'm worried about what Bill will have to endure. I'm worried about the people hybrids and what kind of torture they will endure. What kind of person could see a humanoid face or a face in pain and continue to inflict pain and suffering even for a better cause?

It was what Tom wanted to hear, but it's definitely a moral gray area, and although he wanted to allow Bill to make the decision, I don't think someone as sheltered as Bill has been can really understand the consequences of what he's asked for. I feel like a spend a few moments at the end of each chapter, just thinking 'oh wow'. Which is incredibly articulate, I know. ;) So Tom has made his decision, by talking to Bill. I don't know. Although Bill is intelligent, I don't think he grasps the scope of what's going on. I wonder if it's going to change his decision (Bill's) if he's in the lap and sees others like him being sampled and in pain. (And I wonder if my speculating in public bothers you!) Anyway, as always, I'm very eager to read more. :)

This story has become so intense and so multi-layered, it's amazing. The questions of morality, friendship, ethics...there's so much going on and to consider. Yet, it never feels convoluted or intentional, just a natural progression to the story line. I'm so anxious to know what will happen next!

Oh, I loved this chapter. Bill talking at the end and proving how smart he is was my favorite part. I feel as if something bad is going to happen, though. Hmm, I can't wait to read the next chapter. :D
