I've never seen the movie, I thought the trailer looked a bit weird. This story is interesting. Can't wait to read more.

Awww Bill :( I feel for him I do. Poor Tom is so confused and it makes me sad too. It's obvious now that he loves Bill. He is Tom's creation and an exstention of Tom in that respect. I love this story and Bill is so sweet and he must be going through so much in his head and can't talk to Tom about it. I hope someday they can find a way to comunicate clearly with eachother, What do Bill's butterfly wings look like? Much prettier than the insect wings of the creature in the movie yes?

I can't even do justice to this chapter with a review, but it's so aptly name "Emotion," with Tom trying to come to terms with his, and Bill longing so badly and being denied everything. Of course Bill was going to act out, Tom has trapped him in just about every way!
There were so many scenes and images that made an impression on me in this chapter, from Tom gently cleaning Bill's makeup to Bill drawing Tom, only Tom, and looking so sweetly hopeful, to Bill brooding at the window. But the most vivid impressions were Tom's choked out "I love you" and Bill's stumble, followed by the amazing revelation of his wings.
Poor Bill, he's too young to realize Tom is married to his work, still. He's just going to have to become even more captivating and I look forward to it.

Awww... Bill drawing pictures of Tom. That's so adorable. And I love how Tom wiped off his makeup for him. Did Bill put the makeup on because he thinks that's what Tom likes, or just out of curiosity and because he thinks it pretty?

So many developments in this chapter! I'm glad Tom is starting to realize he has some feelings toward the creature that aren't just cut-and-dry "fondness" for something he created. Not to mention we're getting a glimpse of Bill's budding feelings for Tom. And the end! I think Tom's confession and the discovery of Bill's wings coincided nicely and really made the ending very dramatic and entertaining. I'm loving the whole progression of this story so far!

I'm especially glad to hear you liked the ending of the chapter--it somewhat mirrors what happened in the film (obviously, there are differences at this point), and I was concerned that it was coming across as overly dramatic. But I really liked the imagery of the wings sprouting as Tom confesses his feelings...so I decided to stick with it. Anyway, rambling aside, I'm glad to know you thought it worked!

Oh man. Is it weird that I'm now on the ball about when you may update this story? Well I just love it that much. This chapter just...gah! I started getting all "twitchy" and stuff; felt the restlessness that practically radiated from Bill. Lol. Its so sad that Bill can't go outside but of course its for obvious reasons. People would most likely flip the hell out.
That whole last part just made me start flailing. Especially when Bill slipped off the building. But than when his wings just..popped out! I'm so excited about that. :DD

Now that he's no longer a child, he's going to start questioning the world around him more...and I definitely don't think of Bill as a passive person, so of course, the creature couldn't be either!

This is such a great story! I am truly enjoying the growth of Bill the creature, his expressions and animation are delightful, and the way you portray him is wonderful. You have him communicating so clearly in my opinion - with his sweet little chirps, his eyes, the tilt of his head, and of course his lovely eyelashes and his smile... :) He sounds like he is growing more beautiful every day. I love it. Tom cares so deeply about him too - that's obvious, even if Tom doesn't quite realize it himself.
The little nuances - Bill's nails clicking across the floor, things like that - make your stories so good. After Tom being the "Beast" now Bill gets to be the "Creature"! Plus I always thought Bill would be hot with a tail. Just sayin'. ;)

Awww, the dancing is so sweet. I'm sad Tom got all freaked and ruined the moment :( I haven't seen the movie Splice... Will Bill ever learn to communicate in English or is he just not biologically able to do that? Also, I LOVE that he put on the makeup :D YAY!! Can't wait for the next update!

Poor Tom, He just needed a little fun. George is just being a pain although he is right and Tom does need to be more careful when talking to his boss. I think it's cute though that Bill put the makeup on. Tom's reaction was pretty fun. He got all twitterpated about it and it was kinda cute. I liked Bill's reaction to the music and it was very sweet to see Tom help Bill to discover it. The thought of them dancing made me smile and I hope they do that again. However, I'm curious now that Tom sees so much of himself in Bill. Gee.... I wonder who's human DNA was spliced with everything els. Tom really is Bill's daddy huh.
