So, so beautiful. I don't know what else to say. I had to hunt this down, because I didn't have time to read this when I first saw this, but it was definitely worth it.
I loved the metaphor of red leaves and how the whole fic twisted around them. MCD's are always hard to read, but this was not only incredibly touching, but also beautiful, gentle and so full of love. You made their struggle to a bittersweet, beautiful fight. I'm sorry for repeating the word beautiful, but this was exactly that.
I also liked the characterizing a lot. Seeing Tom like this is so rare treat, so precious, so melting my heart. Even if it's so hard for me to read him suffer. Thank you for writing them like this.
And thank you for this very touching reading experience.

Oh, my lovely!
This hurts, but yet--YET--my heart longs for Fall now to see the leaves burn, so that I too may spot that boy with his brown eyes.
Beautiful, heartbreaking, but yet worth every tear shed.
Their connection was definitely worth every heartache and I am so glad that Bill stuck by Tom in love until the very last breath.
And I'm glad that in the end, Tom finally had the peace he craved and now all he needs is his Bill to come home to him.
DEFINITE favorite and man, you take my breath away.
