Very interesting lead. It makes you wanna know more about the story. With some of the stuff mentioned a reader can actually foreshadow but the light isn't exactly shining at the end of the tunnel so it's not horrible to the point where you should quite.

your welcome :) it would be pretty epic or a little heartbreaking if the real bill was a lifetime-sentence-in-jail badass but we wouldn't want that because someone would make him drop the soap and we don't want that for poor bill so we'll stick to fictional badass bill even though real bill is pretty badass in his own right :)

This first chapter is incredible! I really like your writing style, and you are very descriptive of your main characters, which is great!!
Bill seems very mysterious and I'm curious to find out more about his relationship with his mother. He appears to have some strange hidden agenda, but I have no idea what it could possibly be!!!

I like it seems like it will be a good story. Plus bill being a badass automatically equals awesomeness in my book, but I also like innocent bill too, can't wait to read the next chapter. Oh and if you still need a beta I'd do it for you (though I'm not an official one for the site)
