I'm still excited when I see that this has been updated so I guess it's not losing it. There are a few things I hoped would happen but I'm still enjoying it. I'm interested to see what else is going to happen even if him turning Bill is obvious. :D

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. It started out really strong, but these last few chapters have been missing depth. I don't feel Tom's love for Bill anymore. Bill's reactions to Tom seem scripted and mechanical. The story feels forced, like you're just writing it to finish it. The chapters are okay, but they aren't your best.
If you don't want to finish it, don't finish it. It's YOUR story, and you post it for YOUR pleasure. I know you don't want to alienate your fans, but you even said that you aren't pleased. If you want to put it on hiatus again, do it. You do what you feel is best, and just maybe, this will turn out to be as great as how it started.
I hope I didn't offend you with my comments. I'm a fan of your stories and I don't mean any disrespect to you.
Author's Response: I didn't feel disrespected at all! I'm glad you actually said something. I just feel pushed for time, like Bill's pushed for time and I need to make it go as quickly as possible. I don't know.... Do you think I should take the last two chapters down and redo them or what?

I was so excited to see that this was updated when I woke up, and you didn't disappoint. Sometimes you need a little stage setting. I did however think that we would have many evenings full of Bill and Tom getting to know and fall in love with each other before Tom told him the truth, but maybe it's good to have gotten it out of the way now. That way Bill won't be tempted to break any of those rules Tom set. I still can't wait to see what will happen in the coming chapters. I'm sure Bill will have lots of questions.

I didn't expect Tom to tell him so fast but... meh. It's better to get all the shocking news in one day imo. And he won't be wallowing in despair which kills you faster, now he knows he has a way 'out'. Lol when faced with a vampire whether real or not only Bill will try pulling the fangs to see if they're real. I wasn't touching them >.<

Author's Response: That's what I figured. Finding out you've got it would only speed it up I'm sure. The panic, the depression, etc. Besides, Bill could drop dead right now in the fic. He's on borrowed time, he doesn't have the time to find out slowly. And JA! I could totes see him coming across a vampire and being all "pfft *yanks on fang* ....ohhhh shit O.O" XD And ja, I think he would definitely think you'd be the weirdest fan ever :3

Author's Response: The group is called a Kiss besically as homage to a very close friend of mine who is writing a vampire novel (to actually be published). No explanation for the name will appear in the story that I know of, but it's sort of a play on the whole 'kiss of death' thing.

I was so shocked! I thought it was cancer. But this is much more sad :( Did you cry when writing the first part where Bill explains everything, cuz I cried reading it :(
I would have expected nothing less from Tom. It would have been ooc if he didn't do something like that. That Murphy guy deserved every bit of mutilation he got imo. When Bill caught him and he asked "what are you doing home" I was like wtf is that all he's gonna say o.O And it seems like he knew he had it and was deliberately spreading it around, what a complete ASS! This pissed me off so much knowing that there are ppl in real life doing things like this and knowingly sentencing others to death.

Author's Response: I tried to leave it open where it could be anything to keep you guys guessing. I didn't cry, but it did put me into a sad mood. Well, he didn't actually know he had it, but he didn't exactly care enough to go get tested. It's horrible that people do do that in real life. HIV isn't that bad. I mean, it is - don't get me wrong! - but you can still live a full and prosperous life if you manage it correctly. With AIDS you're lucky to have 2 years :(
