I would just add a bit more description to everything. For instance, we know there's a coffeemaker in the office. But we don't know whether Tom's desk is neat or cluttered, or what the office, in general, looks like.

I really love this story and how each chapter is interesting and develops at a really good pace. This story is also believable and this is achieved not only by the well thought through characters but also how well written it is. Looking forward to future chapters! x

Okay, so I pretty much H A D to click on this story once I read the summary. I mean seriously, who would deny the fact that they love a good mystery? & Especially one that involves Tom in a uniform XD

& the fact that the detective will seemingly fall for the victim he is in search of, just from the information he has picked up while trying to solve the case, talk about an 'awe' moment ^-^
Like you said, this was just a started chapter, so I don't think there is much I can say on it. I mean, obviously it caught my attention ^^ I liked the fact that you went back to the night pretty much leading up to Bill's dissapearance, rather than jumping straight to the detective's on their search. [if that makes sense? i hope so]
I will definitely read the next chapter, seeing as to how I'm ready to dive into the case itself. (:
Oh and btw, I made a quick banner for you [I wasnt sure if you needed one, but its almost midnight and im totally night tired, so i was bored XD]
