Omg! This is absolutely fascinating. I love the idea of Bill and Tom dealing with animals like this, each in their own way, and Tom talking with them and solving crimes. A marvellous premise! I haven't read the manga so I don't know what to expect, but I'm sure it'll be great!
I love every description of Tom and Bill meeting for the first time, and this one is lovely even before the electricity. The last line of this chapter is just perfect: exactly like the world should be -- Tom enthralled by Bill. *g*

I haven't read the manga before so I'm really excited to see where and how this goes! Ahahaha. I'm also curious as to why Bill and Tom felt the jolt. I'm sure Bill has a secret too :) Can't wait for more!

It made me tear up a bit when Tom was talking to the rescued dogs. Made me think of the dogs at the shelter where I work, and the things they would say to me, if I could hear them.
But OMG, I'm SO excited for this fic. Brilliant first chapter and I can't wait for the rest!
Author's Response: My cat can't even talk, and she still manages to bullshit, lol! And yeah, I know what you mean about the rescued dogs. I've worked at several shelters, and I feel so bad for some of the babies there sometimes. Glad to hear you work with animals who need the help, too. <3

You made me a mess over the puppies. It's horrible enough that human beings hurt each other, but innocent puppies? I like the concept of this and where it's going. Go Tom the Dog Whisperer!

I can not wait for more. I love Pet Shop of Horrors and I hope this turns out to be as hilarious as the manga was. Though I hope it doesn't end the same way. The thought of Bill in some of D's outfits just sends happy little shivers though me.
