and yeah, i live on an island with about 80 inhabitants x) how small is the place u live in?

The town I live in use to be so much smaller, but over the past sixteens years I've lived here it has gotten up to about 10,000, which seems massive next to 80 people! lol

i really like where this story is going, and the dynamic between tom and his family is really interesting. the only thing that bothers me is the way Bill talks. for some reason it's always driven me crazy when a person speaks without using any contractions. I'm guessing there's a reason for that though? And i'm a bit curious about bill's family too? i mean, how do you raise a kid like that, so positive about everything, and just so seemingly content with life. I thought the scene with the boys yelling at bill was interesting, because of their religous taunting, and them accusing Tom of being gay not knowing he was the pastor's son. i'm looking forward to the next update!

I love this Bill! And so far I love this Tom as well, I'm glad he didn't freak out too much over the other boys. Lots of stories like this, at the first hint of trouble Tom turns tail. Glad he made it a little further this time. Keep up the good work!

Isn't it interesting how "sinner" Bill demonstrates so much more genuine kindness, forgiveness, and spirituality in his attitudes than the religious townspeople. What he says to Tom after the group of kids insult him epitomizes everything I've ever been taught at church. It also represents everything that the biggest hypocrites in most religious groups conveniently forget to practice (because they're too busy trying to make themselves look superior). Funny, how often that happens. I'll be interested to see where you take this. Very nice work, by the way.
