I love this story so much. My family isn't overly religous like Tom's, but they practice a different faith than i do, and sometimes that can make things hard. I'm so glad that regardless of what his upbrining is, Tom has found the courage in himself to stand up for his beliefs, and to go with his heart. I hope that when he talks to Bill it goes well. Bill seems like such a bright spirit.
and agian, i'm talking about your characters as if they're real, lol. I just really like this story, and i'm so SO happy you updated early!!!

And I can kind of sympathize with you and Tom...my family has different beliefs then I do, but fortunatly they don't really practice any kind of religion and they don't care what I believe. Poor Tom, it would be so hard to live in a home like that. I hate when people take ANY religion to an extreme. Like you said the bible teaches love and forgiveness. How are you going to make a 'sinner' want to 'come to Christ' when you act like a bigoted asshole? No one is going to want to be a part of something when they can't feel accepted and when they are told that they are going to hell instead of shown love and understanding. Even Jesus befriended a prostitute.

I feel bad that Bill doesn't know his parents...and find it kinda strange that his aunt and uncle would have decided to home school him. But, they obvioulsy have done a good job raising him (i just realized i'm talking about these characters as if they're real...o_0 anyway) That dinner was seriously awkward city. at least Simone was somewhat polite about things. i hope Tom doesnt get in a lot of trouble. And i really don't want Bill to be hurt by whatever Tom's parents do. I bet they'll try to seperate Tom from Bill. It's kinda obvious he's gay...and christians are not known for being very understanding of homosexuals, lol. This is a good story, true the chapter was a little rushed, but i liked it. can't wait till next sunday :D
