AWESOME-Bill and Tom get to see each other if only for a little while!! Thank you for putting that in there-I was really hoping there would be someway they could see each other for a bit-even though it will make it harder when Bill leaves...i'm hoping there are some plans for them to discuss!

Wasn’t the golden rule of Christianity ‘treat others as you wish to be treated’ or something like that....why were so many Christians so ....un-Christian? Even though Tom didn’t follow his family’s beliefs....the things he had learned from religion were forgiveness and tolerance and things like that...how so many people managed to twist the basic beliefs of Christianity around and use them in such a hateful way was beyond him.
THIS, times a million!
Living in the Bible Belt, I see this way too much. It's beyond me as well. :/ I'm gonna keep reading now though...

Oh man I hate cliff hangers. Haha. I'm dying to know what's going to happen in the next chapter. Will you update again tomorrow?! Haha. My hunch was correct. I figured Muriel left him everything. It's sad they need to get away from that town or they would have a house and a shop to run together and really begin their lives. You never know, maybe Tom's father will see the light before the end. If not Muriel has set them up so well they can go where ever they want. Nce chapter.

Author's Response: Have you read the whole story? lol, because she's mentioned several times through out it. She's the old lady Bill was friends with, and she owned the candy store that Bill and Tom both ended up working at. :)

Poor Bill. I hope all of this doesn't change him. He won't be the same person but he's such a free spirit that I hope that doesn't stop.
I can't wait for them to get Tom out of that place. I hope the whole place gets shut down when they go. I can't help but think about the poor little ones like Tom.
I'm really going to miss Muriel's character but I have a hunch. But I won't ruin it for others if they read the reviews people leave.
Don't ever worry about a filler chapter. This one was all important to the plot and not everything can be all action. Nice chapter.
Author's Response: Hopefully once Tom gets out he will be able to pick up Bill's spirits XD And that hunch you have, I bet anything that you are completely right, lol, but thanks for not giving it away ^^ And I know I shouldn't worry about filler, but I usually do and I don't know why...I was reading over my first story, and realized I could have made it so much longer if I would have just sucked it up and put a little filler in, instead of trying to make every chapter exciting for the reader. At least I'm getting better at it XD Thanks for the review!
