I agree. Maybe if children saw that it's ok, and maybe if adults would confirm to children that it's ok instead of going, "Well, it's ok if they see ~homo/bi/trans/bi -sexuality in action, just... not when they're so young." It's treated like something that's inappropriate for children, and that's part of the problem. It's really unfortunate. And on a separate note, not gonna lie, this situation totally happened to me as a kid. :B lol

Oh I love this. This is a fabulous start. This is one of my favorite kinds of stories. I love Tom stomping his foot, Bill's plans for a tree mansion and the belief that 10 days makes Tom so much older. You capture 7 year old boys so well, they are very believable character. I cannot wait for more of this. I hope since you have been working on it for two months that you will have frequent updates. Keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you like it so much! I know that personally, I had to do a lot of reminiscing over my own days as a seven year old, and think about how the little kids I know interact, and that really helped. I'm glad they came off as believable. As soon as I start updating, they'll be frequent. I'm trying to figure out a schedule where I can incorporate updates for two fics at once, so we'll see how it works out! I know I've been taking forever, though *hides* I AM ASHAMED, because I knew I wouldn't be able to handle posting more than one fic at a time, but...erm... I couldn't resist. >_> /shame

Good concept, but it's frustrating as a reader because the sory is written in present tense, which is awkward to read and sometimes hard to follow. But otherwise, great start! Can't wait for the next chapter!
