I'm not trying to be mean but exactly how old is Tom's Grandmother? She sounds like she's in her early 30's which she should be in her 70's. Do you know of any elderly women that talk like that? I don't. I mean, think of your Grandmother(s) does she talk like that. I doubt it. I think you should have made the characters more realistic instead of sounding like something from a mock of a movie or something. Cause the characters are so unrealistic, you have Bill talking to his mother like a 5 year old child, you have Tom's Grandmother, who I would think would be like in her 70's but sounds like she's in her 30's which is not possible at all cause I've never met an elderly woman talk like that and I don't know many of the elder who accept the gay community that well, a lot of them live like they are in the past, I've seen it. Then we have Nathalie who sounds like she has absolutely no braincells or brain at all, which is kind of mean, but you just made her to be really stupid. Overall, I'm just giving a critics opinion, that's what reviews are for, not to boost your ego, just to give you some advice from a reader's perspective. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings just being honest.
Author's Response: I appreciate your thoughts but there are people out there like my characters I know becaue i base my characters off of people in my life. My maternal grandma accepted my gay friends and drag queen friends right off the bat. She had a very open mind and didn't judge people. My paternal grandma wore mini skirts an stilettos up until she died in her 70s. That grandma thought she was 20 and used slang that everyone used. You're stereotyping old people. Not everyone in their 60s, 70s, or 80s act like old people. I know some very hip old people. I even know 3 that have the bodies of 20 year olds cause they work out daily. rnNatalie is as I wanted her. And Bill loves his mom and she babies him. Tht's some people's realities, and it's just what it is. But thank you for your thoughts.

What kind of grown man calls his mother, mommy? it's so not normal. It sounds childish.
Author's Response: My 46 year old boyfriend still calls his mother "mommy" and she loves it. There's nothing childish about the terms of endearment that one uses on their family and close loved ones. And my 6'2" Italian stud of a man is ALL MAN! A wealthy, highly succesful, confident man like mine will not and does not feel childish about loving his mom, his way. And I think it's adorable. He even still kisses his dad cause they're all close like that. Nothing abnormal about loving your peeps!

Why is everyone all honey and baby and honey lamb? what are they, a bunch of girls? I think you should have dialed it down a bit on the nicknames a bit. Especially when Bill called Georg Baby, I could accept Bill calling Tom that but not Georg. If my boyfriend called a friend of his who's a girl that over the phone, I don't think I'd be too happy. There are certain names that you shouldn't call your friends.
Author's Response: Life's too short to worry about stuff like this. If you love your peeps and you're close like that, nothing is wrong with terms of endearment. And if you really trust your man, you won't care what he calls his female friends.

I liked the smutty one, too, you wrote it very well, I know its hard work.
But I got to see beautiful Bill presented to Toms mom in a very satisfactoy manner, haha!!
And i loved how grandpa Joe couldnt take his eyes off Bill. Yes!

Omfg, i love this story so, so much! There were parts where i laughed like hell and parts where i cried like my dog had died. Basically, this story has it all! The psycho bitch, drama, heart-wrenching parts and oh, the drama ofc!!! It's perfect!!

Words cannot express how awesome this story was. If I wasn't giggling my face off, I was in tears! And OMFG @ the "Good Burger" line...that's my nephew's FAVORITE movie and it was on tv just a couple days ago! xD I'm glad I didn't pass this one by b/c of how long it was. It was totally worth taking the time to read and I just have to thank you for sharing such a fabulous tale!
