I can't find the words to explain how much I love this. The words that you use really help to set the time, and your descriptions are just beautiful! I absolutely adore this. Bill's attitude, Tom's sense of calm and his refusal to let Bill get to him, everything. Even the servant had character!
Your characterizations are amazing, and ajksdfal. God, I can't wait for the next chapter.
Reading this is like reading aa book! I'd swear that it was written back then instead of now, in 2010.

I enjoy the dynamics between the two. And your writing is impeccable, my dear. I find it a bit counter-intuitive that Tom would be referring to his student as "master", because I would think Bill would show respect to his elder and tutor with that title instead. Then again, I know nothing about historical edicate haha. Anyways, this is great, I look forward to the next update. :)
Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean about Tom calling Bill 'Master', but the 'Master' title is connected to status, so that's where it comes from. Tom would be, by rights, Mister Trümper, but Bill's the son of a Lord so he'd be 'Master Kaulitz', 'Master Bill' or the 'young Master'. The latter are more appropriate to people who are more familiar with him, so Tom's stuck on 'Master Kaulitz'.
