Hmmm ... I was a little hesitant to read at first. I never really attached myself to the idea of Bill being a 'girl' or in this case a hermaphrodite. Though once I read more its actually pretty interesting. And I like how he's more partial to his male side rather then his female side :)
I'd like to read more.

Author's Response: Bill is actually a guy. I don't think I could make him female without some level of cross dressing. That's just a little too weird for me. I'm working on the next chapter now and I'll try to have it up soon! However, if that doesn't happen, feel free to pester me. XD

Author's Response: Y'know. Reviews like this usually make me smile but I'm going to share a little vignette with you. I was walking home from the bus stop after spending a day with friends in the next city over. I walked past this drink stand manned by two little girls (seven or eight in my estimations) and an even younger boy. I thought they were just TOO cute and ran home to get a dollar so I could get a drink. The smiles on their faces--turns out I was their first customer aside from family--left an unbreakable grin on my face. After telling dad about it, he told me to grab another dollar and get a drink for him. I did so, much to the happiness of the kids. Dad, not actually wanting to drink the overly sugary beverage, let me have both. I didn't want to waste them so I took them to my room. Being the klutz I tend to be, I dropped one of the drinks and the entire orange mix soaked into my carpet. Through a chain of events, I just had to steam clean my carpet--much to the annoyed exasperation of my father, and I started to feel pretty rotten both for dropping the drink and for annoying dad. I decided to hop online and check my email. Low and behold, I have a new review! Reviews always make my smile, but when people comment on my writing, not just as a story, but as a style, it really makes my aspiring writer's heart swell.rnrnWhat this ridiculously long response is trying to say is thank you for re-brightening my slightly dimmed day. :) And, of course, I'm thoroughly glad that you've enjoyed reading my work. Even though I can imagine Tom's frustration, I really love how distant Bill is toward him. It sets up a very interesting progression in their relationship, and I really can't wait to read about it. I also enjoyed reading more about Bill's mother and his father's personality, it makes it easier to sympathize with Bill. Wonderful chapter!
