I just want to start off by saying how much I love you for using "Pain of Love" as the title of this chapter! xD
So besides being INCREDIBLY hot, this is the most plausible explanation. Tom running his mouth either to someone at a party or to a Bild reporter, and then all of this (sarcasm never comes across in print). That or Bild is full of it and knows how to find loopholes.
