You are amazing at writing fairy tales. The whole story felt very natural, like it was written dozens of years ago, and I know u were inspired by The Pied Piper of Hamelin, but you changed it and added delicious twincest and a bunch of other stuff, and it belonged so well. Your story is very well constructed I think, in that theres a beginning, middle, and end, and it sucks u in and makes u feel like you've taken the journey also. I love the way you interwove flashbacks, and the way the singing/magic was cheesey but not really cuz it worked, and all the characters had a purpose... Yeah, you're just a great writer. I liked everything about this. Well done. This was fab! :)

That last part was absolutely lovely, specially the final line. It was beautiful.
Sigh. I really liked this. The tone you gave to the story created an amazing (an completely believable) middle-aged fairytale atmosphere. Well done!
As for the part in which Bill and Tom get together to lead the rats... Oh my, it was so great. The way you described wild magic was just breath taking!

That was cute re-imagining of the folktale. All the descriptions of rats squicked me out, bleh!!! but they were unavoidable, considering the plot :) I can totally picture Bill and Tom being paid in puppies, LOL! Thanks for posting
