Maybe I just missed it, but I thought he only introduced himself as Officer Trumper.
Author's Response: Did you read all the way to the end? It explains that Tom was actually his boyfriend the entire time, and they were just pretending to not know each other so they could have hot cop/speeder sex in the backseat of Bill's car. =)

Sexy. Although, I will admit I figured from the beginning that they knew each other (I think it would be more surprising if you actually had them NOT knowing each other, cause it seems these "faking out" stories are the new fad). You threw me for a loop, though, with the "filled Bill with affection for the man he’d just met." How did they just meet if they were already together?
