I really enjoy this story. So heartfelt, I bleed for this character. I cannot wait for more.
I like the image of Bill crying with his mother's corpse, such a horrible thing to have to happen to a child. Very dramatic.

Author's Response: Yeah, there's going to be a lot of drama in this story. It's going to be very intense, I think.rnAnd you're right, Bill does get beaten on a lot. If he's not, then it's usually him doing the beating. That is interesting.

I haven't yet decided if this will be a stereotypical highschool fic. I hope not.
The small details like coach Nova and Dresden suggest not, but the miserable abused Bill does.
The writing's fairly good, so I think I'll stick around a few more chapters and see what happens. You do know that there's no pairing listed in the summary, right? ...Just checking.
