Out of everyone, I think I feel the sorriest for Gordon. He just seems so uncomfortable, and he even thinks maybe they're a little wrong about the issue, but Simone is so righteously mortified and... human. She should've paid more attention to the Youko that had come through, wanting the twins earlier.
Author's Response: You've got Gordon spot on, he definitely doesn't think they're in the right on this issue. :/ And it really is too bad the youko weren't well-suited to taking the twins...and weren't open to educating Gordon and Simone a bit more.

Be very happy then. :) Excellent handling of the delicate subject matter. I do feel incredibly sad for the poor kits! Having to hide what feels so natural to them, and fearing the slave traders if they run away, must make them feel trapped! I'll be awaiting your next update.

Oh, poor kits. D: I could feel their frustration, and Bill's upset when they were in separate beds. I knew what Tom was waiting for, though, and I was so hoping they'd go back to sharing a bed after Simone came in to check! It's a shame humans don't quite understand about youko twins, and that very few people could ever understand about Tom and Bill. Seems like Gordon's still sympathetic about this whole, um, growing up issue, though, but I understand that parents kind of have to present a united front. I suppose. Blergh.
Very much liked this bit, by the way: There was only a tight wonderful sensation when he was with Tom, something beyond the need for something, like air, or the want for something, like sweets. It was a compulsion like music, craving the touch of Tom's skin, enjoying what they did. Gorgeous. :)
Author's Response: SO frustrated, and it's not nice to separate them like that! Tom's such a smarty pants. And Simone doesn't understand that by separating them like this she's only driving them to submerge their desires and bind them ever closer. >_> Yes, Gordon got mowed down by Simone on this one.

Oh Simone, bad, bad Simone. I know she's not really bad and that she thinks what she's doing is for the best, but she has no clue as to how this is for the kits or how natural it could be for them to be together. Loved the way Bill acted in this chapter, so different from other times when he'd just accepted what others wanted, even if Tom was against it. Now it's the two of them against the rest of the world, it seems and I'm loving it! Can't wait for more!

Eek! God, this is so weird. I've never disliked Simone in a story before but it seems the older the twins get the more I dislike her in this story. D: I understand and know she's just a worrying mother but OMG she angers me so. *sigh*
