wow...he's so confused...and mean...i understand that this is supposed to be realistic and stuff but i didn't think someone would continue being cruel to someone when they liked them...but that's just me...
Author's Response: tom continues to act cruelly to anna because he doesn't want to admit he likes her. He's a guy that doesn't really LIKE girls -- he enjoys sex, yeah, but with anna he has emotional attachment and that's frightening for him. He isn't used to having strong feelings like this and he doesn't know hot to handle them.
