oh i love this! i'm glad Tom's becoming more accepting in this story, that was my only qualm reading this. I like how we're finding more out about certain things but we're still kept guessing. this is so well written, and i'm definitely looking forward to more :)

I hope Tom gets over his racism soon. I know its a habit thats extremely hard to break, especially if one was taught it while growing up and lived in an era that encouraged it, but he wont have a roof over his head if he doesnt open his eyes and starts seeing Robert & Claude as human beings.
Somethings obviously gotta happen, something intense or memorable that'll change Toms mind for good.
