i like this very much so :) it's such an amazing period piece, i love how it's written. In a way it reminds me of Last Man Standing, the movie though i'm not entirely sure why other than the involvement of horses and the particularly arid landscape. This is just incredible!

Awesome new chapter! I want to slap Tom so bad, but I love the way you wrote him. If I feel that way towards his character, it means that you succeeded in writing him because he's infuriating at times. Now that we know more of his way of thinking though, it was easier to read about his closed minded thoughts.
Then again, it would be so unrealistic to have people behave properly towards black people and indians in the time set. Bill is just an exception and maybe there's another kind hearted person like him somewhere, miles away from his town but they represent like 1% against the rest who see these different people as savages and whatnot.
This chapter was kind of funny. I don't know if you intended it to be, but I was amused reading about Tom's reaction when discovering Bill and Claude. What made me LOL was the end though "You saw what?", I just can hear bill's tone when he said that to Tom haha!And Tom cowering from it...Great!
David is just the typical mayor. I like his character for some reason. Maybe because he's a relief from reading only
about The boys in the ranch. He kind of adds colors to the fic. David represents the town people's mentality in general. Of course he has his own personality and he doesn't defend the interest of the town only but his own too, but you know what I mean.
And guys, wouldn't it be fun, if David became a vilain and Bill somehow managed to dodge his machinations(if he ever have any. He seems to be a good guy and doesn't speak like an evil one), that at the end he ends up dipped in a jar of tar and covered in white feathers, then banished from town. Poor guy, but that's just my imagination again lol.It was funny in my head until I wrote it down. Forget what I just said.
Oh, and just checked the comments, no one corrected yet but you just forgot the verb in "Pourquoi est-ce qu'il est là?"

GOD! I'm not generally one to talk about how great a sex scene sounds but OMG! Bill with Claude just, wow.I loved Tom's reaction to seeing though, just so realistic. I was disappointed I didn't get to read this last night (I got up early just to read this) and I have to say I wasn't disappointed.
Normally I'm not fond of Western anything but this just has me enthralled. I truly love where it's going and how you're writing it and I just cannot wait for the next update.
...I feel like such a fangirl.

Wow. It's almost ridiculous how excited i was to see there was a new chapter. I am absolutely loving this story. Its very well written, there is enough details to where i can see the story and dont have to fill in any gaps. and i love that. Cant wait for more.
