Ok, stop squealing and back to the chapter.
The complex matter of psychological disorders is handled as a professional could do and, once again, I notice (and praise) all the research behind the logical and accurate talk Koji has with the twins.
At the time this FF is set, it was true the twins were under a huge pressure and the fictional part of Tom's guilty conscience – affecting his brother too - fits in their tough situation.
As described also in the previous chapter, they never lost their professionalism and composure under the spotlights while enduring more than they could take; now the only person they can talk about this is the only one who knows the truth behind it all. Paradoxically, he could be seen as the the worst stalker of all but those who claim their love for the twins are the ones who truly put them through hell and I appreciate it's been mentioned.
It's lovely how horrible events like the kidnapping and the shooting have triggered a mutual, effective help; Koji healed his tormented soul and the twins grew up to understand they need a way out from what's oppressing them. Their work is important but their lives matter more.
Before reading, I thought it was Tom who showed up but it's so good they both went to meet Koji.
Sticking to how he's been portrayed all along the story, Tom is more practical and Bill is the sweet, caring one who talks, talks and talks (yes, that's what he does constantly XD).
And finally I'm not concerned anymore about Koji being alone. It's the life he's chosen and the lack of a relationship doesn't bother him. I can say I'm relieved and these words “I don’t have the patience to get to know anyone new” make me think that he's come to realize he already had the perfect love story, something that can't be replaced but only treasured forever, and it's time to move on for good and embrace his true self.
The twins trust him, he likes them and care about their well being so he should help them by any means :)
Author's Response: Koji says he doesn't have any friends but it seems he has one in Elena! :D Thanks for noticing my research again. Glad it makes sense and fits with the story. Yeah, Koji wanted to help the twins initially but it appears that they have helped him in return so the kidnapping cannot be an entirely bad thing. It would have all been so pointless if nobody learned anything from the whole experience and just got fucked up beyond repair :P And you are right about Koji - he has made peace with his solitary existence. If Bill and Tom want to have a relationship with him, then great - he will make room for them in his life, but if they don't, he will accept it and carry on as he always has. Because he can finally love himself now and realises that he alone is enough. (Sorry if that sounded like Dr Phil or something, haha) I'm glad you're not worried about Koji anymore because he will be all right no matter what :) Thanks again for your positive review!

I'd kind of like them to all stay together for a while...maybe he will tell them it's too crazy, but build the plan to take them to LA for a break and a new life? Hmm. I want him to get some Bill finally, they're all skirting polyamory anyway I'd think. Lol

It's time for Koji to talk so we can see what happened over a year without even the need for dialogues. Wonderfully done!
All the facts he's witnessed to through videos and interviews are true (well, apart from the Asian guy driving off in their car XD) and, in my opinion, so is the feeling of a special bond the twins convey, especially to those who pay enough attention to see beyond what they allow the world to know.
I perceive the “invisible” interaction Koji still has with Bill and Tom (Tom praising his outfit without knowing who he was talking to :'( ) as a symbol of two different worlds that have drifted apart maybe never to connect again and this brings out my sadness for Koji. He's so lonely and aware of it; he's fixed now so there's nowhere for him to hide anymore, to justify a need for seclusion he actually never had.
All in all I think he's the one who's scarred for life, not the twins, with the difference that he's got a strong grip on reality and he can control his emotions more than they could possibly do. What he considered his mission is no more; he's left with lots of memories he treasures and with what I consider as an unrequited love (him leaving the room how the twins left it broke my heart). It could be true love, it could be what it's defined as “the Kidnapper's Condition”... who knows. What's sure is that he's got a huge respect for them and their lives, he doesn't want to mess with them at all and I can't even imagine the pain he must feel when he attends public events and see them in person...
Maybe he could tell Bill all he wants him to know but, again, with the kind of life he leads, I still doubt it would be possible for him to have a loving partner by his side, one day.

He is definitely scarred for life and is trying to move on with all his past issues but he can never forget the twins. Who could, after knowing them so intimately? But at least he's leaving them alone now, to continue their lives without interruption. Even if he is secretly stalking them ;) Thank you so much for your thoughts; I value them greatly. And what did you think of Koji's new look??

OH MY GOD. I came here to check if there was a chapter update and there WERE TWO!! AH. IM FREAKING OUT, I WAS SHAKING THE WHOLE TIME I WAS READING THeM. IM SO SAD, I WANT KOJI TO BE IN THE TWIN'S LIVES. D: ALSO PLEASE TELL ME THIS WASN'T THE LAST CHAPTER RIGHT?! Oh man i'm going to cry, you're making me feel emotions. I can't even describe what i'm feeling right now, so much happened. I'm going to post an actually coherent review tomorrow after i've had time to think and settle down...
Also one more thought, i think Bill and Koji really DO have a connection, not just stockholm syndrome (I think i've said that before) but really i think Bill is going to show up to the cafe, at least i REALLY hope.

Koji stalking the twins is really freaky, he's become a lovesick fanboy. His mind is still messed up even if he does seem to be getting over his twin and moving on. I do love the way you explained all the changes the twins went through in real life in terms of the story and through Koji's eyes. Presumably they must know that Tom didn't kill Koji with that shot or Bill wouldn't turn up to meet him...if it is Bill and not just Koji's wishful thinking. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I actually expected Bill to come see him, so I became really sad when it seemed that he wouldn't come... But JEEJ, there Bill is :). I hope they want to start a relationship with Koji, but I doubt it will really happen.

OMG! I can't describe my face now...
It's all so intense that I started shedding tears from the 3rd paragraph on. My heart was aching for Koji; his care and composure made it all only worse (for me). I could feel his sadness and loneliness and, if the twins' lives have changed forever, the same could be said about his own and the confirmation that it's true came with what he says to Bill.
There are tragically poetical lines that really had me sobbing (wth, I've never thought a FF could do this to me!). Now I have to admit that there's a bit of Stockholm syndrome yet Bill's farewell comes very natural. He's seen beyond Koji's actions and toughness since the beginning so, once again, all he does is perfectly in line with his character and it underlines why he and Tom are complementary. Two different sets of mind that, together, creates a whole.
I would like to be mad at Tom (and at you Rina, you devil XD) but the coherence of all that happens makes it impossible. He's endured more pressure, stress and anger than he realized and what he does is just a consequence of this all. Sad but true. What I'm wondering is if his action would take a toll on his relationship with Bill....
I had to check the warning and now I hope for the best *sobs*
I was forgetting one last thing. You sure know how to make readers hold their breath until the very end of the story *__* This is one of the reasons why I love this fic so much, honey

That proves how special the twins are, if they could affect him in such a way when no other twins he took ever did. Aw, I'm sorry for making you cry (again!) but this day had to come sooner or later.
