As it happened before, it's hard to avoid spoilers while reviewing this chapter; I'll try my best to write something sensible without revealing too much.
Wow, their plan comes as a surprise to me. According to details you asked me time ago, I expected the twins to ask Koji something different; instead, this ending is genial, like astounding fireworks closing a celebration :)
Again there's the fascinating mix of true and fictional facts and what's sad is that the true facts are the ugly ones. No more privacy, no more life, no more safety and too many things to hide, including their true selves. All in all, they were released from captivity to jump straight into a worse form of it that will never end. Having no freedom when locked in a basement is one thing; the same happening in the world outside that basement and even in your own house is another story and a nasty one.
As you explain through Bill's words, it's not Stockholm but a natural and perfectly understandable need to feel safe and, why not, protected from all the madness going on around them. Then they have grown to define their personal concept of love based on strong mutual friendship, trust, rejoicing on the other one's happiness and no room for jealousy (one heart loving two persons; Tom is fine with it).
How brilliant is it that now we can realize why the story was titled “Captivation”? Same word, two different meaning. I love it!
The open ending is perfect; personally, apart from love, healing and safety, I detect a bit of creepiness too that is sooo consonant with the whole story.
In the previous chapter, Koji defined himself as obsessive and compulsive so what could happen now, especially considering some details in his actions? I'd love to explain what I'm talking about but, as I said, no spoilers!
I'am sad because this story has come to an end, although I know a novel can't go on forever.
And here I list why I love this FF so much (not necessarily in his order):
- best original character ever
- not a single out-of-character action or behavior
- intriguing plot and emotional roller coaster (I experienced sadness, happiness, fear and empathy with the three of them)
- wonderful style of writing
- perfect mix of true and fictional facts
- logical explanation for everything that happens (how public figures can disappear; how they justify their absence etc)
- tough subjects masterfully handled
- accurate research on every single topic (ok, I've said it *hides* XD)
Congratulations for an amazing FF that truly deserved to be featured.
I know that you're very busy but I don't like this “may be planning to write” that much... If you can, you should definitely write another one, oh yes!

Author's Response: Thank you for the longest review ever!! :D You always seem to see so deeply into the story and the characters, picking up on significant things that even I didn't notice or realise at the time I wrote them. I like how you say they went from one captivity straight to another one back in the real world - something I never thought of in that way but you're so right! And yes, Koji is still a little bit creepy and twisted but that's why we love him ;) He may follow them around but he would never hurt the twins and that's the main thing. Aw, you give me many warm and fuzzy feelings with your list of why you love this fic. ^__^ I am still thrilled that you think Koji is the best OC ever. That's awesome to hear. And I love that you felt so many emotions reading the story too - that meant I was doing something right with my writing. *feels proud* Haha, accurate research indeed! Oh, so sad this has finished. I didn't start reading when you first posted but maybe about 2 years ago and I was quickly hooked, so it's a real loss now its over. But I loved the ending. It was a great way to write a happy ever after kind of ending for Koji as well as for the twins. And although I would have loved a threesome, the kisses were hot and I have enough imagination to fill in the blanks. I look forward to reading something else from you...and maybe you could write a one-off sequel to Captivation sometime just so us addicts can check in on how things are going with Koji and the twins. Author's Response: Yeah, I'm a bit sad it's over too :( But at least it ended on a good note! To tell the truth, I did start writing the threesome but felt as though I couldn't get it right and wasn't happy with how the whole scene was turning out so I ditched the idea. I didn't want to post something if it's not essential to the story and the sex really isn't. You know they're going to do it but you don't need to read about it! That they're all together again is the most important thing, I think :) Thanks for all your support and if I ever write a sequel I will let you know!

Ooooohhhhh.....goody..... I like that twist! Koji should take them away! It should start as a little twincest vacation, and then Koji can get involved! Mmmm hmmmm....gimme some Tom/Ko! ..........Bill and Koji's dialogue was kind of fast - like they were speed-talking. It could have used a little editing to make it sound smoother and more natural. But I do like how Tom stayed quiet, leaving your audience unsure about what he's thinking, until you revealed the twist. Now we know what he wants - some privacy with his twin for some sexy good times! And maybe some Koji? I'm sure you have it all planned out, so whatever you're going to do, I'm all excited :)
