Hiii!
I'm so sorry, I've been such a shitty reviewer lately. With me working on my own stories, with my mom being really sick and with me recently just started working too - I don't get a lot of time to myself to write reviews, and I've never been one for "This is great, keep going" reviews. I'm sure you know what I mean by that, like I love to write actual essays since the writer has given me so much, I like to give back just as much effort.
I'm happy to see another update from you anyway, I'm always happy to see this story being updated still, (I even requested for this story to be featured, because it's so fucking good.) and I'm especially happy with the way the twin's relationship is evolving.
It's rocky right now, that's easy to see and I totally understand why Tom's fighting against it. It's not that he doesn't want to have sex with Bill, it's that he doesn't want hurt Bill in any way, shape or form. He's scared that Bill may regret it when they're out of captivity, that being locked away for so long may have fucked with his mind and he might not see Tom in THAT way once they've been given some room to breathe and think.
Firstly, I feel sorry for Tom. At the moment, I think he's a walking timebomb. There's so much pressure on his shoulders right now, not Bill's so much, but Tom's. With him rejecting Bill like he has been doing, (or trying to, at least) it's entirely down to him when he and Bill get out. The sooner he gives in to Bill, the sooner they're free and I think that plays on his mind a lot. He either does it or they're stuck there, and I think he's beginning to feel the pressure, not just from Koji, but from Bill too now since Bill is so consistent with his advances.
I feel sorry for Bill too. It's really obvious what he wants. So obvious and it hurts him every time Tom shoots him down and rejects him. He's opened up an entirely new view on Tom, courtesy of Koji's meddling, and the one person he loves above all, keeps pushing him away. In a way, Bill's greedy and doesn't seem to comprehend the seriousness of the matter, of what he's asking of Tom. Not only will they be breaking the law if they give in (not that it's the biggest factor they'll have to face), but they will have shifted their relationship into another dimension totally. Nothing will be the same after that and it could go one of two ways - either make or break them. But Bill's stubborn and what Bill wants, Bill has to get. I hate that Bill can't have anybody, but Tom can too? It's hypocritical in a way, and Bill's tired of it, poor baby. He just wants some bumming-loving.
This Chapter was so good, you have no idea, especially the way Koji manipulated the situation to try to get Tom to crack and give in to Bill. Not only that, but Bill's on the manipulation band wagon too now. "You can’t have it both ways, Tom. It’s either you or him." So sly, I thought. What better way than to corner Tom and make him choose, it literally highlights the name of the Chapter - Ultimatum. It's such an effective way to tackle the situation, but sadly it didn't quite work, well not that we're aware of right now, Tom could still object if Bill tries to leave to go with Kojii. But somehow I don't think he will. I think Bill will leave and Tom will regret it straight away. I think he'll use the phone to call through to Koji, make him bring Bill back, untouched. But I don't think Bill will come back right away, I think he might stay behind and when he does return, he may tell Tom Koji fucked him, just to see how far he can push and hurt Tom?
I don't even know, man. I'm blabbering like I usually do.
I'm so excited for more. So fucking excited, I'd give an arm for another update soon, but I understand that you have a little girl and you can't drop your responsibilities at home to push out another Chapter. But thank you for updating this still, you could've stopped and you'd have a good enough reason to, as well. It literally makes my entire week whenever you update, so thank you for that.
As I've said, I can't wait for more, this is fucking perfect. I'll be waiting patiently here. Until next time < 3 xxxxx

Not sure if it ever will due to it not being everyone's cup of tea but like an Oscar, I'm honoured just to be nominated LOL You've got some great ideas about what Bill and Tom might do and in the next chapter you'll find out if you're correct! It's all so awkward that it's extremely normal because it's awkward :)) Two complicated teenagers as the twins are, left secluded for nearly a month and manipulated by a skilled Koji couldn't still be their old self; that's why this changing in their behavior is extremely realistic.
On the contrary, it would have been out of contest if all the subtle psychological pressure they've been put under had left them unscathed and exactly as they were the day of the kidnapping.
Well, actually they haven't "changed"; due to the circumstances, they have allowed their true self to show. And I bet Koji knew it because he'd studied them for a long time.
In my opinion, it was obvious by their behavior they weren't an ordinary set of twins; there was more to them and not so well hidden too.
Even in their "changing", they are never out of character. Bill has always been less influenced by social rules than Tom so it took him far less time to understand what he wanted. Tom is still confused - Koji yes, Bill maybe, Bill can't get near Koji, Bill no, Koji again maybe - but he talks about things he would have never have imagined before.
I think Bill is a bit confused too (Tom? Koji?) although I suspect what he dreams of, the fiend XD

Author's Response: Yes, that's what I'm trying to get across - that they're not completely 'changing' personality as such but becoming who they have been all along! They are just being allowed to show that side of themselves now, without fear of anyone seeing or judging. Koji saw something in them that was different so that's why he took them and not some other twins. Yeah, Tom is still confused but he'll work it out for himself in the end, what he really wants. Bill is becoming a little torn too but he probably wonders why he can't just have both! ;) Thank you for reviewing and understanding :) <3

I'm thinking Tom won't go further either because he thinks Bill should wait for his true love to lose his virginity or else he thinks he's not good enough to be Bill's first time. Still loving it! I can't help but imagine the twins years and years in the future. I think this little "vacation" might really end up fucking with Tom's head. Maybe he'd be a total alcoholic in his thirties, completely unable to deal with how he'd been forced to change his feelings for his brother. The confusion, the emotional and mental split, would be really difficult to cope with. One day, he loves his brother as his brother, his soul-twin. He's confronted with the idea of being with Bill in a sexual way, and absolutely does not want it. The isolation, the intense situation, the persuasion, take their toll, wearing him down, making him see things in a different light, but that doesn't mean he WANTS to change. He just DOES, because of the environment. I would think he'd have a lot of ups and downs after this, sometimes coping just fine, other times falling into drugs or alcohol or lots of meaningless sex with strangers (and not just girls, but boys - trying maybe to recapture the strange intensity of his captivity, trying to relive it, somehow fix it). He might have to deal with self-loathing. PTSD, definitely. I would love, love, love to see a second part to Captivation, about Tom, years and years later, and what happens to his relationship with Bill. He'd be such a deliciously messed up character! What if he decided to take the role of Koji?!! Trying to convince other twins they need to be together. But not for the reason Koji does it (out of extreme grief for his loss), but because of anger, to try to regain a sense of control. He'd probably be completely bi-polar with Bill - needing to have sex with him one minute, just wanting to be brothers the next, never knowing how to meld the dichotomous emotions. Ahhh....sweet. Oh, and I love Bill's crush on Koji! Juxtaposed with Tom, he's just so naive and innocent, regardless of his confident jerk-off at the end. No wonder Koji sees him as adorably non-touchable. Thanks, as always, for keeping up on this delightfully interesting and complex story (and the complexity of the psychology really stands out with the simple stage-setting, btw). Hope the review keeps you motivated, and hope you get lots more!
Author's Response: Wow, you've really considered how Tom could end up years from now, haven't you? *impressed* I admit, I haven't actually thought THAT far ahead in the future but yeah, it's a totally plausible outcome for Tom to end up quite messed up. Him playing the part of Koji?? Definitely had not considered that twist either but again, it could totally happen! If I get time maybe I will think about all the options because it would make a fascinating study. Thank you for giving me food for thought :)

You're a master, Rina! I bow in front of the accuracy of this chapter, from the first sentence to the last one. I've never been a big fan of people getting drunk in order to have sex but, here, it fits perfectly. There couldn't be any other way to stick to Tom character as you've depicted it so far so, yes, that's been a brilliant idea. But... I think Tom wasn't THAT drunk XD It looked more like an excuse he gave himself to try something he denied he was longing for. Same went for Koji. A lesson? Nah, that's another excuse to make Tom like him.
You gave us a glimpse of how I've always considered the real Tom; someone better and way more sensitive than he wanted to show (blame the showbiz, maybe). In this case, before habits or socially-expected behavior kick in, he displays his tenderness towards a broken Koji and this is very interesting. It's THEN when he shows his best side, not during sex and this tell a lot about him.
In a way I'm glad I was right when I thought Koji is lonely and needing for true love but, on the other hand, seeing him unveiling himself so much made me feel really sad for him :( Poor Koji; he deserves more than the secluded life he imposed himself out of despair. He plans, he plots, he manipulates but it's like he denies himself life. There must be a way to make him alive again (the merman, maybe LOL).
Now I switch to your style.
In my opinion, graphic sex scenes are the most difficult ones to write; it takes just one wrong sentence to make a chapter ridiculous or gross. Again -not that I'm surprised - you didn't fall into this trap and gave us a detailed, yet elegant, chapter; never out of character and always conveying feelings and emotions throughout all that went on. Author's Response: Thank you, my dear! I can always rely on you for an in-depth review and I always enjoy reading your thoughts on my characters and writing. I put a lot of work into this chapter (even going so far as to buy a bottle of sake for 'research' purposes lol - quite good stuff btw) and I'm glad the sex wasn't too horribly written! I like writing sensitive Tom. He's nice :) Yes, Koji denies himself a real life but by the end of this saga, he might change and decide to start living again. Then again, he lives through the twins that he kidnaps so he may just abduct some more after Bill and Tom leave to keep himself amused and occupied. Jedward, perhaps? ;) Thanks again!

Please don't let reviews get you down! You just keep writing exactly the way you want, pairing up whomever you want together. People who get upset because they only want Bill and Tom together or just Bill and Koji or whatever, and are soooo stuck in that one idea - they aren't here to truly appreciate good writing! I can read any pairing, as long as the story is um...captivating. And the author has talent, style, flow, and updates regularly. Like you! You're an excellent writer. You shouldn't feel pressured to change your ideas for one or two readers. I love this story, I appreciate the time and work you're putting into it, and I want to see YOUR ideas, not someone who's throwing a fit because you're not doing it the way THEY want it done. Screw them, this is YOUR creation. And it's really, really good. I love how Tom realizes that Koji manipulated him. I wonder if he understands that he's doing the same thing right now? "Oh, here's a taser. You're in control, cutie sweetie honey pie. Gosh, but you're so dreamy. Let's rub parts together, and make each other feel good." THAT'S a master manipulater! Beautiful! And Tom, being a teenager, being the victim of a kidnapping and in a very, very strange situation, is of course going to feel extremely vulnerable and confused. And what if he knew that his darling twin actually asked Koji to seduce him? Holy caca, I can't imagine how betrayed Tom might feel. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. This is some wonderful writing. You've created an intense little bubble-world with these three. Love the stage and the players. Please don't worry too much about the readers who are acting like spoiled babies and demand that you write the way THEY want!! The rest of your audience appreciates you!
