Author's Response: Yeah...I didn't want to drag that out anymore...rnBill is such a sweet person that he'd rather be friendly with Andreas and not lose him totally. But sometimes, it's better to just cut all ties completely. Andi is indeed a psycho but Bill never knew what he was really capable of.

If all divorces would go that well. I sat with my friend when she went through a divorce and for a while I was even the court ordered go between because of how often the police were called on them. Divorce makes people crazy.

Andreas should definitely do something really stupid, like attack the judge, and get his annoying ass thrown in jail! If he did that, she'd probably grant Bill an immideat restraining order if he asked for one.. It would be awesome! ;)

I love your story and I feel bad for both Bill and Andreas in this situation. I mean honestly, I feel that no matter Bill is essentially cheating with Tom, so even if Andrea's cheated first he is in no way in the right. As a matter of fact he himself should now be able to see how easy it is to cheat on someone. The fact is that it doesn't really matter who cheats first or that Bill went out with Tom after he found out because he is still a cheater in the end.
Author's Response: That's an interesting viewpoint. I don't feel BIll is cheating because he is fighting his feelings for Tom, not letting them go any further until after the divorce is final. Tom is the one so smitten with Bill that he's pushing the envelope. Bill is very hurt, so Tom's small displays of affection are what Bill needs and craves. The marriage is offically over, just not legally deemed so yet. Most people wouldn't consider their displays of affection as cheating. rnrnI do disagree with your statement about seeing how easy it is to cheat. Cheating is easy for the person doing it to the other, but it is not excusable. Cheating is a conscious choice. People know right from wrong. Andreas knew what he was doing was wrong. He consciously did it, thinking BIll was oblivious and would never find out. Bill is trying to stay strong and keep Tom at bay unil after the divorce, but it isn't easy! rnI too have been a victim of a cheating boyfriend. Like I told him when I kicked him to the curb, your dick don't accidently fall into some chick! That was a choice HE made. rnrnMany people hold the same strict thought you do though. I do to some degree too, but with some variation. I think a couple really should be fully divorced before they get involved with someone else. But as I have grown in life and have suported my friends through their divorces, that's not always possible. Sometimes you can't fight love as strongly as you want to. I'm speaking in Bill's case. Today, the definition of the end of the marriage is not just when the final paper is signed in divorce court. The end is when love, trust and belief in the integrity of the other person is gone. rnrnI understand your beliefs. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and share them with me.
