I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

This was a really good story but I did feel as though the ending was rushed. I mean, what happened to Tom in chapter eighteen was pretty major and to have such a hurried resolution... The ends were tied and all but it felt slightly incomplete. Oh, and when you changed the hairdresser's name to Howie you forgot one. Near the end of the scene that envolves him it still says Andreas. Otherwise I enjoyed this story so much!!

I have a septum peircing myself....they're okay on some people, others not so much. Bill pulls it off much, MUCH better than most people. Oh and uhm...Tom...your glasses are crooked.

Only one plotpoint open... Tom's family. :-) But other then that, a great story! I really enjoyed it. Good thing Tom and Andi ended up at with Bill, or things could have gotten really nasty. :-P Progress for Gordon to, although I suspect he has a looong way to go yet. All journeys starts with a single step though. ;-) As it does for Tom to. He has come a long way as well, and will most likely recover fully with Bill. I loved this. A great plot, and you've clearly worked hard on it. :-) Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks and I'm glad you liked it. I wrote this so long ago, I don't remember much about what I was thinking, but I think that at the time, I was concentrating too much on getting the major plot done, which is why Tom's family plot is still open.

I won't lie: it was a bit anti-climatic there at the end, but it was still a good story :) A sequel showing how Tom finally assimilates back into the real world, not just Bill's life, would really be great too. :D
Author's Response: I know and I'm sorry. I just ran out of ideas and honestly I was getting bored with it. It ended up being much longer than originally planned. But thanks, glad you liked it anyway. And a sequel depends on whether my creativeness wishes to cooperate.

well, this was a good fic. You kind of introduced the micro chip thing and it didnt go anywhere, and the end felt a bit thrown together like you lost interest in the fic or something, but over all it was pretty goodstuff.

So much happened so quickly! It was abrupt, but some stories end that way. Overall it was a great read and hopefully Tom can push through and continue working on enjoying his freedom.
