I like how you made Bill so nice and trying to help the skittish Tom , but he still couldn't break the slave habits that had been taught to him.
I wonder why Bill doesn't just go to the police? Maybe he doesn't want his dad to go to jail, or maybe he knows Tom can't live independently? You should give a reason for that eventually, to fill in the logic gap.
And that's weird, why the hell is Tom always wearing gloves? I want to know now,
Author's Response: Thanks...and I do plan to explain the logic gap eventually, at the moment I'm just trying to get them acquainted and the current plan is for it to be explained after they get to know each other and Tom trusts him enough to asks questions...or when Bill's dad screws up, whichever my brain decides.rnrnAnd yeah, the glove thing bugs me, I searched it on every search engine I could think of and there's no answer...

Being a history geek I know alot more about that stuff than most...dunno if that's a good thing or not. =)rnrnAnd yeah, I had to have someone be nice to Tom. YAY it's bill....poor tomi though being abused like that....but bill is nice so yeah....bill should get rid of that cage though and let Tom sleep on a bed....that's a very good question why dies Tom wear gloves in public now? Maybe his hands get really cold and the gloves are to keep them warm....or he has invisible hands and he wears gloves to make it look like he has hands....:)

Author's Response: Thanks! And I know right? Sad thing is, is that's not the worst torture device. One I found that was worst was called the Bronze Bull. Basically it was created as an art piece but the king tricked the maker into the belly of the bull so he could see how well the horns sounded (you blew on a horn to make a bull sound). The king then set a fire underneath it. The person inside burned alive and theeir screaming made the statue sound like a bull in heat because of the horns.

It's not the most eloquently written story, but I'm interested in the plot. I see in the summary that the only pairing is Bill/Tom. So I guess Bill just paid one million big ones for Tomi. Can't wait to see waht happens there.
