I didn't get a chance to read the original, as I'm new to the site and the fandom in general, but this really just... blew me away.
So well-written, so well characterised, it sets the tone and mood perfectly. Nothing needs questioning, or explaining. It is the way it is, and it's chilling.
I absolutely love, love, love this. Please continue. Hell, even if this weren't TH, I'd read this. It's that engaging, that intense. So please... chapter 2?

I love this story, and I liked the other version just as much :) I have to ask, do you know the song Psycho by 50 Cent? This fic reminds me of it SO much. I love the song and this story, don't stop writing! :)

MY FAVOURITE STORY! GONE!
And yet somehow... I feel alright. Mainly because this is better than I remember... almost the same but it the little things you pick up on that were different the first time round...
And now I'm babbling *eyeroll at self*
But yeah, I'm just glad the story is here! I'd be so sad if it wasn't. *nods frantically* so sad!

I usually don't read many stories that don't end up dealing with Tom & Bill pairings [just a few with OFC and Self pairings], but there was no way I could pass this one up after reading your summary ^^
About the First part:
i shall write this in all capital letters for emphasis: W O W.
Talk about an introduction to a horror/thriller/etc. fic ^^ The fact that you mentioned actual cases and people, really got your into the mindset. You know, the mindset where you are like "HOLY CRAP. it's actually happened". quite scary, but still interesting lol
After reading about Bill's little torture room, being two years after his first murder, YIKES. He really took it to a new level, only getting more 'psycho' and such :O
[poor, poor Donna. I doubt Tom will find her in time, especially after Bill's line, "play time is just beginning"] That line made my spine shiver just a bit. I had quick flashes of the "SAW" movies running through my mind. Except unlike the Saw movies, she isnt in a 'test' its just going to happen no matter what she does.

Interesting idea for a story. I think the references to real serial killers. Keep up the good work :)
