If it's any consolation, it took a whole lot longer in the original for them to get together, but Bill and Tom refused to cooperate until I gave them something, so yeah.

i felt it worked just fine :) im a bit sad, because i was always a big fan of vampires until the twilight movies came out and rather killed it...i even liked the twilight books! the movies are just...ughh whyyy? lol. but yay, i am glad that bill went to see tom again X)
Author's Response: Awww, thanks, honey. To tell you the truth, I'm not a big fan of Twilight anything, Bill is based off Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is the other fandom I write for.

It's wonderful to see the emotions that Tom evokes in Bill, and so endearing to watch Bill slowly succumbing to the undenialable attraction between them. I'm execptionally excited to read the painting lesson. I just adore this fic *hugs*

Author's Response: Surgery went well, and today I'm feeling almost back to normal. Thank God, I was getting sick of the pain, but today I almost feel no pain from the incision and both my parents and my daughters are taking good care of me, non-Twilight style. Oooooh, and my daughters were invited by a friend to watch Eclipse in July, so yeah, I might get away with not watching it. Hee. Although, I had to admit New Moon was almost entertaining, since I made the girls grate their teeth gushing on Jacob everytime he was on screen. Hey, better him than Edward, anyway. *giggles* It was the best revenge for making me go. ;)

I was in the same situation as Tom when it came to art, only my creative outlet was writing. I used to write all the time, every day until my Grammar instructor kept giving me the grade A/F. I didn't have a Bill to stick up for me though. Sigh.

Ugh, that sucks. Really, there's some people that shouldn't be teachers. What's wrong with encouraging a student so they can get better? It's not like they have to say it's all perfect, but give advice of how to get better is much better than just flunking them, imo.

Yeah!! I loved the chapter very much, was truly awesome. That small section about art, when Bill is thinking about what Tom says and saying "less than satisfactory", reminded me of my art teacher in high school (humour me for a moment xD) - I had a great, awesome, fantastic (etc, etc) art teacher who loved my work. Then, he left, and was replaced by a vile, evil woman who couldn't teach worth shit. And guess what? Those exact words came out of her mouth. Picture this: evil, vile woman holding up gorgeous (in my opinion) picture and saying "this is less than satisfactory." *rage, storm, fume* Anyway, anyway, after all that, awesome chapter, awesome characters, amazing story. Hope your recovery is going well :D Good luck, enjoy the week, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

Awesome :D This story is still really cool, gripping, brilliantly written. I've already said this, but I love the interaction between Tom and Bill ;) Anyway, good luck with your surgery, hope you pull through okay. Is it an 8-10 day hospital stay, or will you be at home??
