This was so beautiful, I cried at this chapter. The part where Bill tells Georg that his cancer is back.. I reread that a few times, so heartbreaking. :(
The story is lovely dear, and incredibly emotional... you captured it wonderfully.

Heartbreaking, yet so beautifully written. I swear my heart stopped beating during the Bill and Georg scene. 'Schwarz' is my favorite song :( ♥

This is so beautiful - so poignant and vivid... I truly can't stop crying. It's simply perfect.
The images, the words and the characters are woven together amazingly intricately to create a scene that's hopeful, painful and freeing. My God, I have never read anything like it.
The narration is wonderfully emotive and carries real feeling, and the time skips between past and present are really well done. This is such a fantastic story, thank you so much...

This story was truly beautiful; sad but very beautiful. I also agree that a chance of one twin surviving the other one, and being content and happy in life is very bleak. The ending was really nice and fulfilling.

The ending was something that I hadn't originally been planning to write - but as I got to the end of the story, I realized that I didn't want to draw out the death scene, I wanted it to be short and poignant. Then the nice little ending with the kids came to me and I thought it would be a nice way to finish the story. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I'm glad they were together in the end. It breaks my heart when I read stories where one twin survives and the other doesn't. In reality, it's not really survival.

Oh... I didn't really read even warnings or genres when I started to read this, so I don't know what to except. Is Bill going to get better - or worse. I keep my hopes high. Carefully, but determined to believe that together they are strong enough.
You're touching very sensitive areas with a gentle touch. I like the swift between present and flashbacks.
I'll keep following this one, absolutely. I'd like myself some hurt/comfort now :)

So very, very beautiful. :-) You are right. This stands beautifully alone. I love sequals, though so.... ;-) That fact that the first parts of the story is written like Bill is already dead makes the story even more heart-breaking. Loved this very, very much. :-)
