Awww Tom is in love XD I know that things are going to work out, having been reading the sequel, but it's still so sweet and interesting to watch it happen...I don't think I have ever read a het story (aside from het stories including trans girls) that have actually kept my interest. This was a great first chapter! I can't believe I have never read this story yet...especially since I am reading the sequel, lol. I understand most everything in the other story, but I'd imagine things would be a lot clearer if I read this story too XD I'm a slash reader, so at first the fact that this was purely het scared me off, but I have grown to love the relationship between Erika and Tom in 'The Ways of the World' so I'm very excited to see how it all began. So yeah, I'm loving it so far :D

I can't believe it took me so long to read this, because I loved it SO much. The ending. The ending was perfect and left me grinning so hard. I loved seeing a little glimpse of them in the future, Georg planning on being a daddy, Tom answering a call from Bill while he's getting ready to have sex with his girlfriend (and his girlfriend being okay with that). I love Erika and Janina becoming such good friends (because I can see it happening like that, when you have to live such a closed off life), and just the comfort level along with the spark between all of them that's still so obviously there.
I just...I adored this. I can't even tell you how much.
