I giggled at your summary, and the fic only got better from there. I think I'm most amused by the fact that Tom's dead set on protecting Bill from Georg, and yet Tom eats the better portion of Bill's dessert. That is fantastic and I could so see it happening in reality.
Also love the fact that Tom capitulates on the relationship subject once they convince him they're serious. It's so sweet and proves he's just got Bill's best interests at heart. ♥
Author's Response: *snicker* Not bad for a summary come up on the fly! ...It's such a Tom thing to do, you know? Those two things are totally separate, and besides, what is Bill's is Tom's, and...what is Tom's is Tom's. :D
That was the tipping point indeed. He was going to put up quite an awful fight, but then Georg went and found the one thing that made him know he was SERIOUS, darn it. And Tom does want Bill's happiness too. If it's gotta be someone (besides Tom, heh heh...) then at the end of the day, he knows he can trust Hagen with his Bill.

Aw, I love Tom in this. The idea of him trying to be all gruff, when really he's just as much of a flaily little girl as Bill is so charming.

I LOVE this! My god, Tom was utterly hilarious. He and Georg are so close, so with that in mind, it was hilarious to imagine him going from great buddy one day to the overprotective father/brother who hates him the next. xD
You portrayed Bill adn Georg perfectly, and it was so cute; them sneaking kisses everytime Tom left, like two teenagers who've just escaped the watchful eye of their father. The rifles on the wall were pricelsss! And Tom... let's not even get into that, but he was hysterically funny.
I love this so much; primo job, as usual.

I swear, I built the whole concept around this image of Tom hanging a shotgun rack on his wall. :D Tom definitely switched from friend-mode to WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH MY TWIN mode, heh heh. I'm glad you got that feeling from the story - they were definitely supposed to seem like a couple of teens escaping "dad's" watchful oversight! I had a lot of fun with Tom, too.

Author's Response: I totally agree, but Bill's so strong-willed, he'd try to bulldoze Tom and everyone would be miserable. It's gotta be someone Tom accepts, for them to have a long-term relationship, whether Bill would admit it to himself or not!
