No way! That was really it? David was a good person? Now, I've been watching some BBC videos (psycology won't give a break) about Freud and all that stuff, so hear me out! (he-man-like posture) I think that David really fell for Tom, but just wouldn't awknowledge it for his own sake. Then, he put all that longing into making Tom fall for Bill, so that he wouldn't be thinking all the time. But then, what purpose would that possibly serve? He would still feel the same, so he left. Take that Freud, Adler, Jung!

Yeah, David is some kind of magical mesias, he wants the world to be happy and gave Bill the perfect alibi, he convinced Bill, and also had previously prepared Tom for the right moment. *squeals and claps* You are awesome and I loved this fic. Lots and lots of manipulation involved on many parts, makes me wonder what would've happened if they trusted each other enough just to talk about it. I can imagine David on some exotic beach, maybe the Caribbean or something with a blond Playboy Bunny on his arm and that vodka in his hand. Totally awesome mental image.
All in all, totally awesome and amazing story, I loved it.
