WOW! I was worried that you had given up on this but I'm so glad you didn't.
For whatever reason this chapter made me want to cry. Maybe it's because Bill still seems so human to me. I feel his sadness and his guilt over what happened to Tom and also what happened in his past. I cannot tell you how much I have missed your writing. Bill giving a lesson on how to fight in heels was so perfect. The tangible emotion in this is still so amazing as usual. I'm curious as to what Bill will choose, he seems so tortured about everything. I just want him to be safe and where he is supposed to be.
Also, I noticed something els. The banner. I thought it was cool that Bill's eye was the more human part and now it is the more machine face. The difference in the tone of the story. Earlier it was more about human emotion and feeling and now it's more cold maybe machanical in nature but I see it turning around again. Maybe it won't be so... "automatic" in the end lol.

That bothered me to no end, because it's wrong. I was already curious about the reason behind Andi not questioning or hinting towards Bill being a Humanoid and all that. Because Andi knows that Bill is a Humanoid since the time he took Bill and Tom out to the club Shiver. Have you forgotten that or was it a mistake or something? The hinting of the martini and the Prada sweater is also wrong then I think, because Andi didn't have to guess or complete the puzzle, Tom already told him, right?
