I like this story, but I feel like you are too literal and direct with their internal dalogue. You also make some of their spoken dialogue too direct (there are a lot of things people don't say in so many words), and I feel like the relationship, or at least their understanding of each other and their bonding, is going too fast.
Author's Response: Yeah, I did feel like it was a bit awkward when I was writing it. I'll have to work on that. :| I know they're bonding too fast, but I wasn't planning for this to be a super-long FF or anything. I'm bad at dragging it out, anyways. :| But thanks for your advice, I appreciate it. :)
