To be completely honest, I would like to see a sequel. Or at least a one-shot about their life a few years later. It would be awesome. :)
And about the last chapter. It was sweet, although I think if Bill would have wanted more, he could have reached Tom somehow, sooner. At least to tell him that he was okay and they would talk once he was better. But yeah... The end was sweet. I didn't really get what was written in the booklet, but probably something about Tom being special to him...
Anyway! I loved this story. A lot! It's a little saddening to see it finished, but everything has it's end somewhere. It was a beautiful story and I would like to thank you for writing it - You are one brilliant writer. :)
Author's Response: It depends on have you look at it. Even after the real surgery, Bill couldn't talk for a certain amount of days, and even when he started the rehabilitation for his voice, he had to make small steps, talking just a few minutes per day. I thought that at that point in my story, Bill would have preferred to wait another week and really talk with Tom, face to face with his voice :)
