Your writing's changed from when this story first began, I can't explain why, but I've noticed a big difference.
It might be the POV thing actually. This is just an observation btw, not a criticism.
And, you're killing me here with all of this. It's heartbreaking.
Yet the good kind, because it's obvious their feelings aren't unrequited, the boys are just too blind and ignorant.
Can I suggest that you mention how old they are, since their ages are quite integral to this arc of the story?
Can't wait for more, so they can finally be happy together. :D
Author's Response: what's POV...? sorry...I'm not real clever...rnI assumed everyone knew how old they are...they were born in 1989, the last chapter was in early winter of 2006...so that must make them, 17...

I couldn't help but feel that they weren't listening to each other at all when they were arguing tbh. Their answers just weren't matching up, now whether that's deliberate or not, I was ready to throttle them :).
It was odd to see things from Bill's side, pleasantly odd, don't get my wrong, but odd nonetheless.
I was surprised to find myself hurting as much for him as I have done for Tom, I really wasn't expecting that.
And could they have been much more awkward with one another? It's all I could pick up on throughout, the poor little things.
I'm really missing the old Bill and Tom, they were happy, I want that back!
I've been thinking about this actually, wondering what would've happened if Bill Kyle and Tom...Trommel met this Bill and Tom, if it'd cause a rip in the universe or something. Since it's not meant to happen....

Author's Response: yeah... well it's just really hard to express certain feelings and emotional atmospheres in writing...like, you and I Elizabeth are in love right, I can't tell you, you can't tell me, we are always close to each other, but always gritting our teeth trying not to do or say anything. and one day, you're leaning inches away from my face begging and begging for me to tell you what's wrong and all that...I mean like it's hard to describe what years of emotional buildup would lead to, and how they would finally express it...but anyways, yeah like they don't hear each other because they both kind of know that their each not telling the truth I guess...ah...it's confusing even me...cause it's the strangest grouping of feelings...but yeah..I think it's not as happy either...but it will in the end...

Hee, Bill is still the same Bill, I love that. If someone can bring Tom out of his shell is him. I wasn't expecting Tom to kiss him like that, but it was awesome, even if angsty, which is perfectly understandable given the fact that they're brothers. I don't think Bill is going to let genetics and society stop him from getting what he wants now that he knows precisely what it is he wants. ;) Fantastic update!

Hee, jealousy is running rampant I see. *g* Loved that jealousy is what pushed Bill to start using make-up. Loved that they're both attracted to the other despite Tom thinking he's fucked up and he's unable to act on his feelings. I have the impression that he won't act on them either if Bill doesn't take the first step. Loving this so much!

Author's Response: it's more like he didn't know what he was feeling...didn't know if it was just cause he was young or whether he was messed up or what...it took him till he was a teenager to understand that he really lived and loved his brother above all else.
