OMG reading about Tom, I felt my stomach drop and heart was pounding. Poor Tom, what a way to find out he has HIV.
Author's Response: not the prettiest way, but nothing's pretty when you find out you've got HIV

Wow! I didn't see that coming, and that woman sound like a slightly sadistic person. This really made me feel for Tom, but also wonder why he had that smile on his face. Love it! As usual, can't wait for the next chapter. : ]
Author's Response: you should understand her part of the problem too, though. I have extenside background on her as well, cause I'm just freaky like that, so believe me when I say you should feel for her too. and also, smile=inverted fear response.

OMG poor Tom
Author's Response: it's okay. he has Bill
Date: 03/01/10 04:43 pm Title: Couldn't put healthy cells back together again
Poor Tom
Author's Response: he's got some really shitty karma
Date: 03/01/10 03:57 pm Title: Couldn't put healthy cells back together again
So sad!
Author's Response: i know
Date: 03/01/10 03:26 pm Title: Couldn't put healthy cells back together again
Poor Tom, that's so horrible. I mean, finding out you have HIV is bad enough, but finding out like that is is just unimaginable!
Author's Response: yeah...

OK, out of all the things I was expecting, THAT wasn't one of them.
However, wow. Tom, just wow. I really feel for you, because I can't even imagine what that must have done to you and yet---yet, you're so calm, so wanting to help Bill feel better and yet, who did YOU have to make you feel better about this? ;__;
Gah, I hope they can help each other, because now that the dam has been opened, I think -- I HOPE-- that this can help the both of them deal and heal.
Author's Response: he's not calm he's just in repressed shock. This is far from having the dam open

Wow, poor Tom, that's a harsh way of finding out. *cuddles Tomi* This was a very powerful revelation and explains quite a bit, too. I'm looking forward to more as always.
Author's Response: I do feel it packed a punck, this chapter, considering how the others have been sort of easing their way into the story.

oh god, that last line is killer. i love this, its so good. bill should be angry, in his rant he didn't even mention what gustav did to his neck. thanks for the assurances about the warnings. keep up the great work!!
Author's Response: thank you very much! :) Oh, Bill's gonna be all up in Gustav's face about that too, but just not right away.
Date: 02/28/10 12:53 am Title: ...until it's as plain as the virus in your blood
This is really different than anything I've read so far ... its sad too, but I love the way you write.
I can't wait till you continue!
Author's Response: thank you very much :)

Awww... The laat line. Amazing choise of words! Very good one!
So sad and confusinf chapter, but I liked the way you portrayed broken and humanly imperfect people in an understanding way. Beautifully, with forgiveness. That's the way things go in life.
Author's Response: I think there's less of forgiveness in life than I'm going to write in the story, but oh if there only were...

Now that was something I didn't expect. I kind of expected Bill and Tom starting to like each other, but you still surprised me somehow. But not in a bad way, oh no! It was sweet... and realistic. The insecurities, needs and denial. So human.
And Gustav's back? This is going to be interesting...*hurries to a next chapter*
Author's Response: I try SO hard to keep this realistic, that's why reveiws like this tell me i'ev done my job
Date: 02/27/10 05:40 pm Title: ...until it's as plain as the virus in your blood
Still loving it! In a way I feel bad for Gustav...
Author's Response: you should. They guy's a sweetheart, just has a bit more trouble showing it

OMG, they kissed! *bounces*
A lot can happen in two weeks, can't it? Especially when Bill was in such a low place and actually found someone who he could share his innermost feelings and fears with. I guess this can't be too good for Gustav. Not that I mind all that much about him, mind you. ;) Loved that Bill told him all that in the beginning, Gustav needed to know what he did to Bill, what he made him go through. Loved that Tom tried to make Bill stop, even if he didn't dare to say no. Thanks for the fast update!
Author's Response: you should care about Gustav, though. Even if this is about Bill's issues, Gustav will not be left. Cheated on for a small amount of time, yes, but loved just the same.

God, that last line was a squeeze of the heart.
It's funny how Tom originally went to Bill and how Bill was supposed to listen to HIS problems, but Tom has taken on Bill's role in this relationship and it's looking like more and more, Bill is the one that needs Tom most.
I'm glad Bill is angry, because if he has any self-respect for himself and is not completely dependant upon Gustav, he has every right to feel betrayed and upset.
I'm glad Tom came through for Bill here, but I am afraid that what they are starting is not going to be as easy as it might seem at first.
There's more of Tom we don't know and I think it will come at a price that Bill doesn't know yet, though Tom just gave a first warning.
But good update!
Author's Response: I love people that GET IT! It's so refereshing when your readers understand what you're trying to say.rnAnd when is life ever easy? I mean, really that's what I'm having a conversation with my BFF about right now. She doesn't get why Bill would act like this. He doesn't get it either, that's the beauty of it. He's just going with the flow and hopes things will sort themselves out. rnTom's already 'dangerous' just by the fact that he has HIV and if things go further might give it to Bill by accident or something. But he also has a past that lets him understand that what Bill wants is not eternal love, sunshine, happiness and pink bunnies, he just need a bit of help getting through this whole Gustav thing alive emotionally. What I said in the summary is what happens: they get each other through life.rnrnWow...that was long. Sorry

I feel so bad for Bill and no, I don't condone violence to a loved one for ANY reason. I GET frustration, but he should have taken a good look at himself after what he did to the person he loves.
If Bill forgives him that, then he should count himself lucky.
However, I also admire Tom here for doing what he did. :)
Author's Response: I think Gustav's beaten himself up over what he did A LOT and I get that somtimes you just want to punch somebody in the face because of pent up anger, but actually doing it means you have some real issues that you need to fix, with time, caring, loving and understanding from your partner, if he'll still take you

so far I really like this. i starting reading it though because you have no warning for major character death. i hope it stays that way, as realistic or not as that may be.
Author's Response: i stay true to that, don't worry. No major character death.

I'm not angry with him, since it seems like it was something completely out of character that won't be repeated, and also because he is being so hard on himself about it.
Author's Response: I want to understand him, and I do, but it was still a bit too harsh. Georg didn't do very well in my mind either, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
