i think that was a really well written chapter and that their conclusions were very mature. doesn't mean i can help wanting bill and tom together anyway. =)
Author's Response: I wouldn't even think of it :P

You asked me how I thought it would go and I don't know if I can explain. I just thought Tom and Bill having a different path in their relationship. It makes me a bit sad to see that it was never really about them, but more of their pasts, presents and inner struggles. But it's okay, hey, it really is! Just that I thought a different way.
Than you for digging deeper in their motives. It cleared many things up to them, but also to me as a reader. It cleared the air. I guess it's all about the streght of other humanbeings. And sometimes we all need it. I know Bill has Gustav, but I hope Tom would have someone too. He deserves one, too, you know?
Author's Response: He'll have someone. I'm making sure of it in the epilogue, don't worry about that. Someone that'll get who he is and where he's coming from.

This chapter was definitely a perfect example of a fic actually circling around areas of human psyche more than actual happenings. Although I don't completely agree with this professor here, I see where he's coming from. No, actually... I do understaqnd his point, but I have to say that I'm not 100% on a same line with him. Interesting how you actually built this chapter around that lesson (+ piece of smut there). Even if I'm not a huge friend of Bill/Gustav-pairing, I think you wrote it very nice. Raw and...loving?
I'll wait to read Bill and Tom's visions WHY. I wish that this fic would have gone the way I hoped, but at the same time I'm actually also very happy to see it doesn't. It's healthy to read things like that, too. At least I hope so :)
Author's Response: Keeping things until the last chapter, you know, the explanations on why and why like that, it was hard, but worth it. I wanted to give a sense of completion, or some sort of ending where there was no real begining.rnrnJust as a curiosity more than anything, bu, how did you think it would have went?

I like that surprise. It partially reveals a depth and understanding, a history, to Bill and Gustav's relationship that we the readers don't quite know about. Gustav knew Bill liked Tom, and he knew his actions would lead to them sleeping together. And Bill knew he knew. Weird. Will they break up in the end? I don't know...
Author's Response: they won't. It would be too sad to have them break up and even though I do a lot of sad stuff i can't bring myself to write them breaking up

hmmmm...i hope things are cleared up a bit more before it ends.
Author's Response: they'll clear up quite a lot by the end of it all. mainly cause I care so much for them that for all the shit they've been through they deserve a little normality...whatever that might be for them

Aww Tom. But I'm so happy he decided to open up. It's not just a thing to let go by by only a tiny shrug. I'm so, so happy he really talked. That is a one strange group of men, but in a weird way even with their issues and insecurities they seem to be a tight knot. Just the way it should be - and it is. To be really honest, I'm seeing this going to a direction I didn't expect at the beginning. I don't mind, though. I'm curious to see if I'm right about that when we are closing to an end. :)
Author's Response: It swayed about 10 degrees off course from what I initially imagined, but it's all good :)rnrnWhen society still shuns AIDS and HIV infected people at least inside their own groups should they be welcomed
