Somehow, I don't really see how this can have a happy ending. Of course, I want them to come to their senses and be together again, but I just don't see it.

This story was pretty good!I liked how Bill was the manager and not a member of the band.The only bad thing is that i feel so sad for David now, what if this had happened to him before?Oh god..Its kinda funny because when i read the first chapter, i thought that Bill was the singer and probably that was the reason why Tom felt all alone and missed him a lot!Everytime i think of a sad story, i only think of the guys having a romance like this but never have i thought of David being in a relatinship like this one.
Anyway, the story was sad but i enjoyed a lot.The fact that Tom was able to "move on" and didn't stay, just made me like this story so much more.I'm the kind of person who always reads the typical happy ending stories but every once in a while, i like to look around and read a not so happy story, eachtime, it makes me realize that life isn't perfect and that there's always sad things in it.
I would like to read a one-shot sequel to see how their life are going after this but then again the ending is just so good that i don't want to mess with it!You did a great job=D

Now, gettin into the review, i do understand what u say, i also love happy endings not the french or japenese ones but the americans lovely dovely ones pfft... but sometimes i get mad at the ends, u know? lyk i think "why the fuck she forgave him?!" or "that's not fair at all! you big idiot!!" and i just felt i needed to write a kind of realistic one that gave a lesson to everyone, to show life is hard, love is hard and there must b a way to keep it real. i mean, everyone writes about their love (twins') and how other people makes them break up, but never about them breaking up just because they dont give the same for the other...
The David thingy... woah, not even i thought about it, but yeah, i do think david had that some time before, it seems kinda impossible not to b real in his life... poor dude...
About tom "moving on" well, he gotta do it, it's not an option, at least for me, i wanted people to realize too that it IS hard but NOT impossible. So, if anyone is in this kind of situation n read this, i hope they can "move on" too...
LOL, the sequel... i do have the ending, at least in my mind, it's not a lovely dovely one but it makes Bill realize how idiot he was... remember the commercial? well, it hit him... and hard...

I generally don't like stories that don't have a happy ending; however, in this case, I would've been so not happy to have it end in other way and even if you did a sequel, I'd expect that Bill would have to work for it and not just have Tom accept him back without some serious grovelling on Bill's part. He needs to understand a relationship takes work on both parts, not only on one.
Anyway, I enjoyed this story, even if it was a tad angsty. ;)
Author's Response: i don't like those type of stories either! lol, but yeah, i know, i hate when bill or tom gives in so easily in other stories, its not right, life is not that simple you gotta work it out n in a relationship a lot moar if there is no equilibrium then it all goes down... n yeah, bill got to work a lot to get tom back, n tomi isnt an idiot cuz even if he loves him he wont give in that easily, since its not fair.
