Amazing writing here. I like how the story just ends without an ending.(if that makes sense!)
love the series, it's so dark and cool, with the kind of Bill i'd love to see.

Author's Response: thank you. :)

Second attempt at reviewing. Yay me.

I liked this a lot. I especially loved the wolves comparison, I think it fit them very well.

The dream scene was amazing, creepy as hell and just plain great. "In my dream I am unsure if I want this—I don’t, not really, because behind his kisses I can feel the tear of fangs, sharpened teeth that need only put the slightest bit of pressure on my throat to rip it open." - loved this part.

“The mind is a strange and beautiful thing, you know? I bet you heard it somewhere and stored it away in that part of your brain labeled ‘trippy dreams’ for later use." - I've got a shitload of those, unfortunately. Lol, so, so true. (always makes for pretty messed up dreams)

Once again, you did one hell of a job, and I can only stand there and bow. Great writing, amazing metaphors that fit so well... I'm jealous. There, I said it. Again.

Thanks for sharing such a beautifully bitter piece, broken dreams and hopeless hopes always get to me, for some reason. There's a sort of despair in their story that make them all the more human (if that makes sense). Thumbs up for Elaine, btw, great characterization...

Write again? Soon? ^^

Author's Response: i've got a shitload of those too, lol. i dreamt in german once! which was creepy. ooh hopeless hopes, very nicely put. and it makes perfect sense; it's what i was aiming for. thanks for the review, girly. :)

Of all of your fics, I absolutely adore this whole universe that you've created in this series. The way you describe things, the things they think, the way they feel, is so unique. It isn't like anything I've ever read. And it stays with me.

I read this a few days ago and I'm only just now finding the time to review, but it's been in my head the whole time. Things like Bill's burning words to Tom, the feel of the rain falling outside (even though I love rainy days, I can feel their irritation), Tom sitting in the bathtub with a plate of spaghetti balanced on his knees, even the girl at the store being so in love with Tom and Tom being so oblivious. And then also Tom biting back at her and then feeling like shit when he realizes that he just made her feel like Bill sometimes makes him feel.

There's just so much packed into every single line that you have to read it a few times to get the full impact of it all. I don't know how you do it, but you leave me spellbound every time I read something from you.

Author's Response: i love rainy days too, so it took some time to get in the right mindset to properly desrcibe their irritation at it, and it makes me so happy that you felt it, too. anyway, thank you so much for your review, as always. :)

God I love the way you write! To have even mundane things explained in such creative and twisty and beautiful ways is so entertaining. And I really like hoe Tom is the meeker of the two for a change...that sort of role reversal from the norm makes this even more interesting. Loved Tom's development and loved this story!

Author's Response: lol, I have a thing for dominant!Bill, as I'm sure you've noticed by now. Thank you so much for the review! :)

You have no idea, how I've missed your fics!!! I was so thrilled to see you posting this! I realised that this is actually a part of a series I haven't actually read, so I don't feel like I'm able to fully review this, because I haven't read the previous parts. However, I want to say few words (and get back to the previous parts later).

I adore your writing style. I've said it before, but there is something so powerful in it that it really affects me greatly every time. It's exhausting, but in a good way. The images, metaphoras and vivid describtions combined to strong story and amazing characterizing in a world, where details do matter makes this not exactly light to read. It challenges the reader, because how I see this, it's not about bouncing from happening to another, but it's all in characters and their verbal and non-verbal communication. And you do it very well!

Interesting to se the characterizion here and you have created a whole new characters to both Bill and Tom, but there is sa tiny hint of real them left. Little twisting and turning, but still balance betwen has something familiar. Just the way I always see Tom being the one being actually the more vulnerable, softer, self-sacrifiying person. I don't know really, something familiar still.

Hmmm, what else... I like Elaine :). I love the struggling and fucked up people, cribble people, broken people. I love the humanity in here instead of perfection. Apparently you never disappoint me :)

Author's Response: Oh, your reviews always make me so giddy! ^_^ Yes, this is the kind of series that doesn't make much sense if you haven't read the previous parts, but thank you so much for letting me know what you think anyway. You're also right in thinking that this is not plot-driven, quite the opposite: it's very character-driven. the thing with RPF is that you can't actually say that this is out of character and this is isn't, which makes writing AUs great. I also always see Bill as the more dominant one, so you're not alone. :) And oh, thank you so much for recognizing that what I'm trying to potray is humanity, not perfection (never perfection, it's so fucking boring), it means a lot to me. Aaaand I'm babbling again. The bottom line is, thank you so very much for your review! (=
