LMAO, thank you, i like that form of a compliment; it's different ;) yeah, i tried to set differnt kind of moods, kind of like it kills to be together, cause she's leaving soon, but still they can't stand to be away and waste time. plus with Tom feeling it was his responsibility to take care of her and keep her safe and well; so i guess i sorta succeeded there :]
i'm really glad you enjoyed it... i'm guessing you don't cry a lot in stories. hehe, guess the story got to you (^_^)

lol QTPieS... This story was pretty sad and although common sense fills in the gaps, there's still some mystery. I'm guessing she had cancer or something which is awfully sad. :( Tom's unwithering love for her through it all is really beautiful and that's one way people should all look at death. You know, like the person who died isn't suffering anymore. And yes, I agree; one-shots want reviews too! That's why I'm always trailing wherever I've been. :)

umm, yeah, she had, leukaemia; i didn't want to make it too obvious, i like a little mystery :) in the story the chemotheraphy didn't quite work, you know how the patients are weak and so forth.... that's sad :(.... but yeah, i agree that if you look at them as not suffering anymore, it kind of eases the pain, plus if they're in your memories, than they're not really gone i guess :\
