Brilliant and well written BUT I don't agree with the artificial quality you seem to find in the band. I don't know if it's because I'm only six months younger than the twins or what, but I understand the band's metamorphosis. I can especially relate to Bill in the sense that I went from being this little garage punk scene lover to an enthusiast of high fashion and make up and the extremes. I have been refined over the years and have morphed from the teen who fell into the rock scene and its cliches to someone who found her own identity within the scene. He's grown up. I think it's true for the entire band. They're not teenagers anymore. They never really fit stereotypes but now they are REALLY defining themselves. I just think they are closer to discovering themselves and they'll probably change more in the years to come. *shrugs* Just my thoughts on it.
But, as I said before, it was a wonderfully well written piece but I do not agree with them being artificial.
