I never thought andy had no strengh of character, I assumed she was smart enough to keep her opinions to her self; her standing up was a surprise because she showed none of her usual discernment.
she doesn't seem dumb, she knew she could get in trouble for speaking her mind the way she did. even the way she did express herself seemed exagerated when compared with the person you've been discribing.
I do understand your explanation, but I still think andy's reaction is not consistent.

this chapter seems so forced :S
the reaction andy had is not consistent with the person you've been discribing; and she quiting seems almost as unlogical as her previous action.

Author's Response: Wow, you're the only review I've gotten asking me that question. I was expecting it for such a long time, because I felt the same, and I have an answer for it too. rnBecause Andy forces herself to take Bill's shit, it seems like she has no backbone of her own, right? That was why her standing up was such a...surprise, I guess. But just because she pretends to be all meek to Bill doesn't make her submissive. If you read the parts with Casey or Tom, you'll see that Andy seems sassier there. It's only around Bill that she melts, which is why she feels so pathetic around him. Still, I'm sorry if you were disappointed, and I'm glad you have the faith in me to think I could do better. Thanks for your criticism!
