A really beautiful little story. The slightly angsty tone is perfectly lifted by the little Miley Cyrus quote and overall it was a joy to read.
Also I'd just like to praise the closing note at the end of the story. Similar to the story it was light and simple. Sometimes it can be disheartening to finish a good piece and be met with caps lock pleading for a review so it was nice to see that didn't apply here. =)

I have to admit, it was the question of how a Miley Cyrus song would come into play that grabbed my attention and drew me in. lol
I think it would be interesting to see deeper into their relationship, to find out just how much they have to lose and how far they're willing to go to protect it.
This was really cute, though. I always love seeing different takes on their relationship, platonic or not. They're just really interesting, to me. =)
