I love this story, I'm tracking it for sure! It's very creative and interesting, though I thought you'd want to know I noticed you let you keep switching Bill's mother's name from Linda to Simone, it happens several times in this chapter. :)

Oh my goodness! I read the other story and, honestly, I thought Bill's knee injury was because of something that happened while he was ice skating, which, in the other story, explained his fear of going back on the ice and in the other story, it seemed like Tom was at his side when he was going into surgery....
Anyways, this was an interesting turn of events and I'm kind of interested in seeing what happens next.
